Motifs, Cross, Doily

Tatteristic joined the challenge to learn new techniques and one of the things she has learned is that motifs serve a variety of purposes. She took one small clover motif and added some beads and a charm and made it into a pendant. Then she made the same motif and added it to a shepherd's hook to make a bookmark. The designs were worked in Lizbeth size 20, Western Sunset and Springtime.

Bonnie was excited to be able to buy some of the lovely new Lizbeth thread from JoAnn Fabrics, but the thread seems to be inferior to the stock sold by Handy Hands. In spite of that she made this wonderful bookmark Christina from the book Tatted Bookmarks -cross-shaped by Lene Bjorn. The cross came out larger than anticipated, so she's thinking that she should do it again in size 80. Fox tatted this Iris Niebach design in Krystle's Earthy rainbow HDT.
