Crosses, Shamrocks, Easter Eggs, Edging, Errings, Motifs, Snowflakes, Doilies, Bookmark and Heart

Marie tatted crosses from Lene Bjorn's Tatted Bookmarks. Maria was done in size 10 thread in white with an iridescent filament, and gold, with a gold filament. Christina was tatted in size 80 in peach colours of Star thread. Monica was tatted in size 80 in Lizbeth Wildflower Garden. Camilla was done in size 80 in pink and purple Star thread. Malene was tatted in size 80 in pink and purple Star thread.

JB posted a lovely St Patrick's Day Shamrock. Egg #16 from Tatted Easter Eggs is made from Lizbeth Pink Cocoa.

Frivole tatted this pretty butterfly border pattern from Occhi Schiffchenspitze Frivolité by Marianne Langwieser and Tatiana Scharowa in Altin Basak 50 in colour 3053.

Lelia shares some tatted shamrocks for St Patrick's Day. The first is Irish for a Day pattern designed by Sherren from her blog at Sherren's Random Stitches. The second is Lucky Seven Shamrocks pattern from Gina Brummett, Threads of a Tatting Goddess.

Jess started with the idea of tatting a butterfly, but then it seemed it was a dragonfly, but it turned out to be a bumble bee.

Jessica tatted some earrings that are simple clovers joined by a chain, but it lacked a little something. She did another variation adding a large single ring to give it a little more splash. The thread was some vintage glace thread from the American Thread Company that she found in a box of stuff at the thrift store.

Kristen is still tatting from Lyn Morton's book Tatting Patterns. This is the Five Point Snowflake in yellow and blue and Simplicity in white. I know I saw Lyn Morton's 4-petal Peggy that Kristen did in February, but a quick check back doesn't show it here, so I must have missed posting it, so here it is.

IsDihara tatted Regal Snowflake by La Cossette Is'Dihara in Lizbeth size 20 Snow White #601 with pale blue Swarovski crystals and blue seed beads.

Bree has finished the 3rd row of her doily and she can't decide if she wants to change colours for this row or stay with ecru.

Diane loves the Sulky blendables and while they might not look wonderful on the spool, they look lovely tatted up in Kersti's Stumpy. She tatted a few more in shades of yellow and shows off the shuttle with -I love Books- on the back, which is really appropriate for a librarian. After all of this trying out of threads she has more tatting to send off to Chris at The Shuttle Shop.

Fox tatted Pattern by Karey Solomon pattern in Lizbeth Thread size 40 and it's a perfect St Patrick's day heart. The edge on the egg didn't look right and had to be
re-tatted when cutting the edge also cut through a picot. The solution was to make the picots shorter. Finally the edging looks scalloped just like the book cover.

Kathy has created a display of green items including a pendant made from a Rosemarie Peel design) that she put on one of her black velvet discs and attached to a beaded necklace.

Kelly has her next project ready to go using some Karey Solomon size 20 HDT called Season changing.

Sherry tatted this little snowflake from Jon Yusoff's Tatted Snowflakes Collection book.

Easter Egg, Hearts, TIAS, Edging, Motifs, Flowers and Bookmark

JB tatted Egg #11 tatted in "Sunset" HDT from LadyShuttleMaker with yellow seed beads that had very small holes and presented a bit of a challenge.

Lyn is enjoying a lot of firsts. The first time she used beads was on Valentina A Beaded Heart by Judith Connors and her first TIAS finished.

Laurette found Gypsy Heart from Teri Dusenbury's Tatting Hearts book was a good refresher on split rings.

Anita shares her progression on the TIAS projects she has done; the rooster, the plane and now this year, the goat. She also shows us her guesses at what she was tatting as each piece was revealed.

Jess tatted a length of edging from The Tatter's Treasure Chest in the brown/pink/reddish size 40 that she dyed which may become a bracelet or a mat, she's not sure yet. She started Yarnplayer's Unfolding Heart with the Wisteria Lane that she purchased from Krystledawne but she messed up the joining in the middle. The little snowflake is from Jon Yusoff's Tatted Snowflakes Collection called Circle of Crowns was tatted in her Superman Bubblegum HDT.

Bonnie made Irene Woo's Butterfly Heart using Yarnplayer's Garden Afternoon, size 30 HDT. She made a mistake, so she had to tat it again. Both of them are gifts, one being sent to her sister and the other gracing a card for a friend.

Cindy joined the Tischband Tat Along  Challenge and she's using Lady Shuttlemaker's Kopper Patina, Size 40 HDT. She done a lot of shuttle emptying making the Clover Drop Heart.

Diane is also joining the Tat Along using size 20 Lizbeth, colors #620 and 621 for the flowers. She hasn't chosen a leaf colour yet.

Fox is using 40 HDT from Jess for this Iris Niebach pattern and this is the first time she didn't have to un-tat anything on the first part of this pattern.

Michelle is thrilled with her maroon goat and is thinking about joining the Tat Along.

Sherry has more Sunset Clouds HDT in size 20 ready.

Doily, Angels, Bookmark and Snowflakes

Axa found this Iris Niebach design but the needed a translation for the pattern It's done in size 20 Anchor Artiste thread.

Prabhjyotsaini's friend saw the doodle angel pattern by Birgit and wanted one for all the ladies who will be attending her sister-in-law's baby shower. Then she did it with beads, but her friend wanted them all in pink thread without the beads. Here are all the angels mounted on pins for the ladies to wear.

Marta was challenged to try tatting in string. It worked for this bookmark, but not well and now she is on the hunt for string that is more suitable.

Diane and Denise got together to help set a record with Palmetto Tat Days for the most tatters tatting the same pattern at the same time.

Fox received a fantastic thread sample from Umintsuru and used it in this pattern from the vintage D.M.C. book where she changed the small top rings to Josephine Knots. This of course ends another round of the 25 Motif Challenge for Fox and she's ready to go again.

Sue joined in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people tatting the same pattern at one time.
