Bookmarks, Earrings, Necklaces, Motifs and Doilies

Kkommy finished her second Easy Rounds Coaster in Lizbeth Royal Wave 143 and Golden Yellow Medium 613 size 20. Now she's challenging herself to make a big doily, the Purple and Teal Square Doily by Debbie Arnold that she plans to make using 4 or 5 colours.
Magda is preparing for a large show in the capitol and these earrings are made of maroon Madeira size 20 and white, slightly iridescent beads to match the necklace Daisies. Clips were made with white and silver Altin Basak size 50 and beads in a silver colour and they match the Viennese Waltz bracelet. Roses are earrings made with cream Aida size 20 and creamy, slightly iridescent beads. The bracelet matches the Forget earrings and is made from white Aida size 20 with glass faceted beads and a silver clasp. Orsi needle tatted a simple bracelet in a wavy shape and realized it would look good with 2 back to back so she did another to make a curtain tie back.
Sue needed a break from tiny heart paperclips and she has started a doily in Lizbeth White and Tropical Punch size 40. An ornament made with a tatted rosette and a small square using a pattern from the antique pattern library. She had to use a larger ornament since the tatting was too slack on the first ornament, but tatting the last section on the larger ornament was quite a challenge.
Cindy entered her doily, that won a blue ribbon at the county fair into the state fair and came away with a red ribbon. Tatting was well represented with doilies, ornaments, hankys, earrings and a very stunning dinner cloth.
Bonnie doesn't have a lot of time to tat, so rather than show the finished project she's showing it in stages and wondering if we can guess what it is. The first part seems vaguely familiar, but I can't place where I've seen it before. Aileen has been crafting, but not tatting much. All she managed to do was Heather's Pawprint.
Diane tatted the Flowers bookmark by Jill Hanna, from Barbara Foster's Tatted Bookmarks: Needle & Shuttle in Oren Bayan size 50, color #090.
Fox sat down in a neighborhood cafe and decided to just tat and see how much she could accomplish during her sojourn. It looks pretty impressive, doesn't it. The section she did earlier has been adorned with a wee butterfly found hiding amongst the buttons at work. The Oval Rose from Marvellous Motifs was tatted in 2 colours and a modicum of beads and is being sent to her daughter for her birthday. Fox thought she had forgotten how to tat a single shuttle split ring, but with a refresher look at Anne's video, she was off and tatting.
Krystle just finished a lovely necklace with pretty crystal beads and just as she finished it she realized on of the beads was broken. That's either discouraging news, or great news, because now she gets to keep it.
Nami finished the challenge one and decided to start again with these green eye earrings.
Vanessa's favourite bookmark is the Flowery Bookmark created by Jane Eborall and tatted in Altin Basak 50. She likes it so much that she has started another one.

Doily, Edgings, Necklace and Baby Booties

Nami tatted this doily in fine black thread which took a long time to make. Black thread is hard enough to work with but it would be an extra challenge to work with a fine thread. The finished piece is beautiful and dramatic.

Ann entered Diane's giveaway for a Tulip crochet hook and commented that if she was getting rid of the flat little box they came in, she'd give it a good home. Diane obliged and sent her both box and hook which Ann has displayed here were her Grandma's tatting and vintage shuttles.

Fox has been struggling along with roll tatting working through one of Mary Konior's patterns called Lupins. It's one of the few designs that uses roll tatting, so it's not like there's a lot of choice, but it was driving her crazy until Ann sent her a simple translation.

Krystle has gone into full scale jewellery mode with her new business, Krystledawne Fine Lace Jewelry. This is one of her new pieces.
Mica tatted baby booties for a friend in DMC Cebelia size 30 in 2 shades of blue 797 and 800.

Doily, Edging, Tatted Bags, and a Bracelet

Ancolie is still in the pink with this edging she tatted in pink DMC pearl cotton size 12. It has been sewn on a square of linen and an embroidered flower adorns the centre. Having mastered one technique, Fox has to master another. Roll tatting kept rolling away for her until the "Aha!" moment when she realized she needed to flip the stitch.
Nita really likes the tatted bags she is making. They are just the right size for a cell phone and important cards so that she can carry what she needs without having to keep track of a purse. The blue one has gone to her chiropractor and she re-made it in mint green, deep maroon and versatile ecru. Now she just needs to get them listed on ebay. Shirl tatted a beautiful bracelet with 100% Egyptian Cotton in black. It's 6 1/4 inches in length and 1 3/4 in width.

Snowflakes, Doilies and Tatted Rocks

Kkommy completed Milky Way from Jon's Snow Collection in Lizbeth Falling Leaves 100 and Mocha Brown Dark 692 in size 20 and it reminds her of wildflowers. She started Easy Rounds Coaster again and she'll make a set by using same color for the chains.
Ingrid tatted these snowflakes in Durable crochet cotton from patterns on the internet, but when she tried needle tatting it didn't work very well, then she tried tatting jewellery, but it didn't work either and when she tried a doily pattern she discovered that it has cluny leaves which she can't do yet, so now she's going back to some basic patterns.
Marta had a pretty red stone with white veins but she couldn't find a way to show it off to it's best advantage until she tatted a cage for it in Madeira Metallic gold colour thread.
Fox has tatted Anne's Dragon Wing Doily and now she's ready to tat the whole dragon.

Doily, Bookmarks, Motifs, Flowers, Dragon, Leaves and Necklaces

Petite finished another Dragon Wing Doily and this one is in Olympus Light to Medium Beige Brown M16 in size 40. Now she has a set.
Kkommy finished the Small Cross by Mary Konior from Tatting with Visual Patterns in Lizbeth Royal Wave 143 and Royal Blue 652 in size 20. The she started a snowflake from Jon's Snowflake Collection called Milky Way. Lily is working on Linda Davies' Stargazer Lily and has 4 of 6 petals completed.
Cindy has been doing some comparison tatting and made Stumpy in Lizbeth Carribean size 40, Lizbeth Jelly Bean size 20 and size 10 Cebelia.
Katherinne really wanted to tat Ringtrim but needed to learn how to do single shuttle split rings first. Here it is in Lizbeth Antique Violet Light and Purple Splendor.
IsDihara tatted Mary Fitch's Poplar Leaf revised by Karey Solomon in Lizbeth 40 #138 Leafy Greens. Fox has tatted an oval rose motif from my book Marvellous Motifs in Green, Lizbeth #20, and the rose is Prelovka from the Tatting Thread Exchange.
Heather tatted around one of the wood pieces she has displayed and turned it into a pendant.
Krystle shows us a glamorous version of a tatted bib. Marty tatted Iris Niebach's Beatrice from Tatted Doilies in YLI machine quilting thread in a colour called Alaskan Twilight and entered it in the fair as a coaster and it one a blue ribbon, a high blue and a sweepstakes ribbon.
