Bookmarks, Flowers, Doily, Bracelet, Motifs, Animals and Snowflakes

StephanieGrace embellished a card with tatting using Lizbeth size 40 thread in white and an unknown colour.

Tats made the Ric Rac Bookmark from Tatting Miscellany in Lizbeth Berry Burst in size 20 but was tatting while on heavy pain medication and it didn't come out quite right. The next one done in size 10 thread was much better.

IsDihara was disappointed with her fair results of third place, but you'll understand when you see the first and second place results. You'll have to check her blog for that.

Linda received a plethora of ribbons for her fair entries. We saw the red and white doily in progress and while the design was getting lost in the variegated centre thread the outer rows of solid red and white really pulled it together.

Vinnie is back from her holiday where she managed a little crafting time which included making a single shuttle black bracelet with blue beads. She also tatted a simple tatted set with transparent beads small flowers and a Josephine chain string. A tatted and a crocheted flower in silk which tats up beautifully, but it's a little slippery.

Diane tatted Anne Bruvold's Dragon Wing Doily in Altin Basak, size 50, color #3001.

Fox tatted these motifs from Tatting Patterns by Lyn Morton with Perlovka #8 perle cotton. She received some tiny Miyuki Rocaille #15 beads, and tatted them with #50 Omega thread using a pattern from Tatted Artistry by Teiko Fujito. She tried a pattern she thought she would like, and used a different method of adding beads. The pattern that had her stumped has been conquered. but she decided she didn't like it after all and quit without the slightest remorse. Flowers in shades of pink are being created to adorn a crocheted hat.

Krystle glued some crystals to a tatted motif. Why not? It works and it sometimes lets you add sparkle in places and in ways that you can't tat it in.

Martha's new book, More Critters on the Block, is finally ready and it looks like it's chock full of wonderful creatures.

Mica tatted Day 19 from Bjørn's 24 Snowflakes in Tatting which was an interesting design to tat. Then she tatted Lyn Morton's design using the same modification that Fox did and another one of her own.
