Necklaces, Earrings, Teapot, Bookmarks, Edging, Motifs, Peacock, Doilies, Vest, Flowers, Anklet,

Cigdem used a tear drop shaped natural African Opal Jasper surrounded in tatting done in Altin Basak gold metallic and the polyester in gray-green thread with matching colors and fire polished faceted crystals for this pendant.

mb duke made these beautiful dream catcher earrings using Sue's pattern with vintage Star size 70 thread for her mother-in-law. this tea pot and tea cup will be going to my next door neighbor after I complete the sugar bowl, creamer and second tea cup.  The Maltese tea set from Martha Ess' Tea is for Tatting are done in Lizbeth size 20 Royal Blue and white. Lizbeth size 40 Purple Medium and Lime Green were used to tat Regina Brummett's bookmark.

Laurie picked up CQ blocks at Tat Days and used Spring Flowers in size 80 Lizbeth thread for some embellishment. The Triangular Medallion by Lisa C. Trumble was made with Lizbeth size 20 in color #117 for another block.

Ginny loves using these colours for the peacock which she recently finished.

Kristen has motif 25, Nancy Tracy's Tatted Square Motif. followed quickly by motif 26, the beginning of the round doily of the Spiderweb Dresser Set from The Tatter's Treasure Chest, which is growing rapidly even with the use of a picot gauge. She did another little practice, ring only motif, just to use up some thread, which was a good two for one project. The spider web doily is getting more web. It would have been even bigger if she hadn't actually snipped it instead of the tail end she was hiding. She hid her accidental ends and hopefully is ready to carry on.

SunshineCraft is well on her way with the mystery doily and she's liking how it looks, but she'll soon have a decision to make since she is rapidly running out of the thread colour. Now she just has to determine whether she should hunt for more of the same colour or add in some contrast.

Linda's vest is starting to take shape. She has 35 large motifs and 28 small motifs done. The DMC pattern is all rings and she made modern day changes so there are less threads to tie in utilizing SSSRs

Ancolie tatted this very classic pattern for her 20th motif. Motif 21 is another vintage doily, tatted in soft pastel colours.

Fox tatted this motif using a pattern from A New Approach to Tatting by Yusai Shokoin. The mystery doily is being worked over and over in size 30 Ivory Cebelia as dyslexia strikes again. But finally... Success!

Jess entered Livi's Doily in the local fair and it won a blue 1st place ribbon. She also entered this hair clip, which is an abbreviated version of the flower in Mary Konior's Tatting with Visual Patterns and it won a 2nd place ribbon. Anticipating fall had her dying in colours she doesn't normally choose, but it came out really well.

Margaret had a picture taken of her tatting while on holidays, just to prove that she does indeed tat while vacationing. She has listed the pattern in her Etsy store for her 3D Cymbidium Orchid earrings.

Marie show us the close-ups of the pulpit and stole. The stole edging was made up of simple rings. These exchange items are from Paula and she used the ocean and tea theme. The barefoot sandals to go on the beach with and the little butterfly was tatted by Paula's daughter.

Sue tatted Motif 5 from Tatting the Self-closing Mock Ring book by The Shuttle Brothers Gary and Randy Houtz in size 40 Lizbeth Blue Ice.

Flowers, Snowflakes, Doilies, Bookmarks, Ornaments and Motifs

Aysh has re-joined the challenge and shows us a floral picture that was her last project. She had to lay her tatting aside for a while and started this new project just to find out that she's going to need to run out and buy more thread. We all need more thread, don't we?

Carrie has finished her 25, or at least she's pretty sure she did since there was a whole flutter of butterflies that she completed. It's Birgit's Small Star done in size 10 Aunt Lydia's green and white.

SunshineCraft wanted to try the mystery doily from Georgia Seitz' website and thought she'd work in something blended with a strand of gold thread instead of plain white, but it doesn't look like it will block nicely. The next try looks like it's a keeper done in variegated Anchor pearl cotton.

Diane loves Libeth Blue Ice, a fabulous colour for snowflakes like this pattern; Delima from Elegant Tatting Gems by Jon Yusoff.

Fox tried out some King Tut thread that Frivole sent her, using Mary Konior's Buttercup, but it's really tiny and she doesn't think she'll be using it again, although the colour is gorgeous. Fox has also been inspired to give the mystery doily a try using the thread she got for the trellis doily. Just for a change of pace she has some beads and thread that will do nicely for a Japanese pattern that she has finally worked out.

Margaret shares some bookmarks she completed. The Spiral Bookmark in white and Tropical Punch and Kersti's Floral Tatted bookmark in Pink Parade, all size 20 Lizbeth. Then there is the Rose and Butterfly bookmark by Jeanne Lugart in a rather old thread by Coats

Marie forgot to take pictures of all the Christmas balls she did for her aunt. She did a total of 16 two inch balls in size 30 crochet thread. This is the last of a batch of 14 Christmas balls, which were done in size 20 crochet thread with lots of beads. In all she's done 63 balls for her aunt's tree. The pattern from "Tatting" by Anne Orr was used in the paraments for her church made with size 10, gold crochet thread with a gold filament.

Wanda made these motifs in Lizbeth #662 Turquoise Light size 20 which she planned to put on a denim purse. Instead she will mount them on a wooden heart.

Snowflakes, Collar, Amulet Bags, Bee, Owl, Pendant, 3D Star and Dragonfly

Diane finished Kencana from Elegant Tatting Gems by Jon Yusoff and it's looking lovely. As a break from knitting she started another snowflake in size 20 Lizbeth Blue Ice.

Fox was inspired by the lace collar on Justice Ginsberg's robes and wanted the collar to look exactly the same as the one in Jan Stawasz's pattern which she tatted in size 10 thread. Sadly the thread was very coarse and rubbed her skin raw.

Martha wasn't teaching at Palmetto's so she got to take lots of classes. Here is the amulet bag taught by Erin done in some HDT by Karey, but she still needs to make the strap. Kaye Judt's 3D Bee was a very fun introduction to bobble style tatting. After the Friday night banquet, Riet always teaches the Night Owl Class, which is usually about owls and this year's project was a cute little own designed by Jane Eborral. The Early Bird Class, led by Donna led was the "No Where Maze" by Vicki Clarke done in more of Karey's HDT. A class taught by Vicki herself, was her 3D Northern Star. Randy Houtz's Pearl Tatted Dragonfly really stretched those mental tatting muscles.  They are Maltese/Pearl Tatting rings, but each is special. Here is a picture from some of those working on the amulet bags Saturday night.

Pendants, Baby Bonnet, Mat, Dragon, Star, Snowflakes, Flower and Doily

Cigdem tatted another modification of Mrs. W. M. Odum's Tatted Daisy pattern in Lizbeth size 20 in Medium Mocha Brown, light dusty rose and white.

Carrie finished Merry Higby's NIN Baby Bonnet worked in Aunt Lydia's size 10 white, shown here on her daughter's Bitty Baby doll. Due to her tight tatting it's even smaller than she intended. Now she needs to upsize it and tat for an expectant mother she knows.

Nancy started Mary Konior's Eightsome Reel in the middle September in Lizbeth size 20 in the color of Silver and Charcoal medium. She took a break from it to tat the Baby Dragon from the book Flights of Fantasy by Martha Ess.

Fox had one colour remaining of the Perfect Quilter to tat and couldn't face tatting the same motif again so she copied Frivole and tatted Mary Konior's Star pattern.

Margaret has been tatting a dusting of snowflakes. The patterns for the first grouping are from Anna magazine December 1991 and from Diane. The next one is the 8th day of December from the book 24 Snowflakes by Lene Bjorn. A cut off section of the snowflake makes a nice flower, that she will use to decorate a card.

Marie has tatted Delia, another of the patterns from Tatted Doilies by Iris Niebach, done in Lizbeth, size 20, Denim Whispers.

Mica really likes this Sweet Rose pattern that she did in size 40 Lizbeth with some miscellaneous beads that were a perfect match.

Motifs, Bell, Flowers, Earrings, Doilies and Edging

Laurie tatted this motif originally called Blue Motif Pattern since it was done in blue. Another Tat Days project is called Silver Bells by Sharren Morgan which she tatted in Altin Basak metallic thread in light blue.

Jane used Jane Eborall's instructions to learn to cover a ring with tatting. This earring has possibilities, it was interesting to work with size 20 thread and to add beads on the outside of the plastic ring. The thrown off rings were easy to do, so that's something else learnt.

Fox fixated on Blomqvist and Persson's motif and Perfect quilter threads and switching from very fine size 80 to chunky size 10 is wreaking havoc on her tension. Here is her collection of 12 different colours.

Marie tatted Beatrice, from Tatted Doilies, by Iris Niebach in size 10 crochet thread with opallite beads. Cornelia from the same book, done in Lizbeth, size 20, Fruit Punch and Spring Green.

Wanda didn't really have time for playing around, but she still gave this edging a try in Lizbeth #149 Peacock Blues size 20.
