Seahorse, Motifs, Earrings, Necklaces, Bookmarks, Edging, Doilies, Heart and Bracelets

Krysta has decided to join the challenge and her recent tatting includes a seahorse by Jane Eborall and kokopelli from the be-stitched web site done in size 20 Lizbeth thread colour 694.
Wooroosa is a Korean who has been tatting for 2 years and she needed some motivation to keep tatting so she decided to join the challenge. She's currently working on the Corona doily from Judith Connor's, Contemporary Tatting New Designs from an Old Art. At one point she missed a join that connects the triangular motifs and she tied the picots together. Been there, done that. She's planning on using ecru thread to join the rounds together

Marie tatted these earrings from Nina Libin's, "One Shuttle, Lots of Beads" that matched the bracelet, from an earlier post in DMC's Metallic Embroidery thread. She thought Nina's necklace from It's All Rings was a little plain so she added Nina's Green Iris Pendent that can be found on Georgia's site done in Lizbeth, size 20, Autumn Spice. She added a few more ds to accommodate the 4 mm pearls she used on this one made with DMC embroidery thread. Maria is one of her favorite crosses from Lene Bjorn's Tatted Bookmarks which she did in size 10 crochet thread. The while thread has an iridescent filament and the gold thread has a gold filament which didn't show up in the photograph.

Anita wanted to add tatting in all of the colours she used on her quilt block. So she wound 2 strands of all four colours of the embroidery floss onto her bobbins and stuck the shuttles together to keep them in place. Then she used another shuttle wound in green to encapsulate the other colours, creating an edging with cloverleaves in each colour.

Kristen is going through withdrawal as she crates up all her tatting supplies to be shipped out. She learned how to tat both spiral chains and split rings on the needle and used the techniques to finish off her necklace. She's using some variations on Lyn Morton's Tatting Patterns flowers in creating a gift that she'll share when it's complete.

SunshineCraft is working on the next row of the Clover doily by Eileen Stafford, which is the row that nearly drove her crazy the first time she tatted this design.

Linda created an Afternoon Tea fabric postcard with a wee tiny tatted flower as a post card for a friend

Ancolie tatted this design by Iris Niebach from Tatting Fantasia 2.

Cindy tatted Petals from the Just Marking Tome, book of bookmarks in some Tat-ilicious thread, which she just may keep.

Fox used Valdani #12 in a colour she loves to tat Karey Solomon's Happy Heart. She can't make up her mind which of these 3 designs to sew on the shirt for the little one's birthday. Any ideas? Antique Splendor by Karey Solomon was tatted in size #40 HDT by Tat-ilicious. She test tatted Frivole's bookmark design in size 40 Lizbeth. Then to finish off her size 12 Valdani she tatted Susan Fuller's Heart's Desire. She found a small heart by Frivole to go on the back of the shirt. That finishes off all of the size 12 Valdani and she doesn't think she'll buy any more as she finds it too soft and furry.

Frivole tatted the heart from the Rainbow Heart Bookmark pattern by Betsy Evans to show off the colours of Jess' Serendipity HDT. She attached her edging to the oval with green thread for a really awesome doily

Sherry has a pretty little doodle to show. She's tatting up another one of these doilies and writing up the pattern in a PDF. Here's day 2 and she's decided to go with fall colours this time. The progress is slow but it's coming.

Sue is working through her monumental task of tatting lot's of bracelets in a rainbow of colours and she's finished 16 so far. Her granddaughter, saw them and requested one with a whole rainbow for herself.
