Dragon, Snowfake, Doily, Lady and Bookmark

Heather has created a tatted chapstick holder with a drawstring closure and attached to a key ring. Her version of the Design Challenge 2 is tatted in Yellow and Ecru DMC Traditions and it measures 7 by 5.5 inches. The lady in blue was inspired by a tiny quilling lady and was tatted in size 10 thread on a #3 needle. The snowflake with beads is tatted with white #30 thread and #8 needle using clear seed beads with lavender/purple centers. The next Snowflake is made with Size 30 thread and #7 needle. Heather found some dragonfly buttons and made this motif with them using size 10 thread and 5 needle. Some flower buttons and a little tatting make a very rewarding motif. As usual, Heather has included the patterns for all of her creations.
Jeanne has been doing the Glass Mat from Mary Konior's Tatting with Visual Patterns using Lark's head Picot Joins but it's not working out as well as she'd like, so she's given up on the join and is working the piece normally. She's looking forward to doing the next TIAS project planned by Sherry.
TattingChic indulged in some thread and books for her birthday. Her first project from her new stash is a snowflake from Spitzen - Kreationen by Susanne Schwenke, a lovely confection called Sternenhimmel tatted in a size 20 variegated blue cordonnet mercer cotton called Glanzhakelgarn Uncinetto. Her next piece is Jane Eborall's Flowery SCMR Bookmark tatted in Manuela threads.
See what Ellen won? The Pastel Heart Aug Giveaway by umintsuru is the second heart of Martha’s Celtic heart pattern tatted in Olympus thread which she mounted on a black foam cover of a notebook.
Iris has a free pattern on her web site and Pamela has been having fun with it and sent these pictures to Iris along with a picture of her Eleanora doily with the diagram with progression numbers for it.
Bev has tatted this motif from Rosemary Peel's Tatting for Pleasure that Bev plans on making into a brooch. The edging for this hanky is done in HDT, Pensacola Blue using Mary Konier's Acorns without the oaks. She's undecided on whether or not to add another row.
Joy tatted this oval doily design by Darlene Polachic from an Old-Time Crochet Magazine in size 30 variegated Olympus thread.
Jeff has tatted Anne's Norwegian dragon in Altin Basak thread colour number 344 that Sylvia gave him. He plans to attach this dragon to the plastic aida cloth that the mug came with.

Diane has been working from Tatting: 60 Original Lace Treasures by Christel Weidmann and has Designs 1 through 6 done. Also completed is an adorable little horseshoe from Nancy Tracy's monthly Be-stitched newsletter.
Laura has tatted Anne's dragon in green Flora size 20 with size 11 pink, glass beads.
Sherry finally got around to tatting Jane's last TIAS and now she has one of her own ready. Materials list for TIAS #4 is now posted on her blog. Also posted is a slower colour change of Vickie's Lilacs. This one may take longer to do, but it looks like it will work up beautifully. I hate the way the fast colour changes of some threads make the tatting look blotchy.
