Doilies, Bookmarks, Edging, Motifs, Heart, Cat, Lady, Flowers and Suncatcher

Tats has decided to join the challenge and her first piece is Mary Konior's Spinning Wheel Glass Mat in Fireflies HDT from Jess.

Krysta has been in the pink lately, first with Petals by Julie Patterson from Just Marking Tome in Lizbeth Spring Garden size 20, then with a tatted teacup motif from Contemporary Tatting: New Designs from an Old Art by Judith Connors.

Carol finished Mary Konior's Spinning Wheels Glass Mat, but it looks more like a bowl. Isn't it amazing how missing one little section of a pattern can give you really unexpected results?

Marie tatted a border from Tatting Book 5 by Penelope called Vandyke Border in size 10 thread. She didn't like the back part of the border so she left it off.

Heather's Citizen School group is finished and her students got to share all that they had done in public, showing people what they learned and their finished products.

Linda completed her CQ for pets and added a tatted heart. Miss Kitty is a pattern by Inga Madsen from her book Tatted Animals tatted in Lizbeth size 40, Falling Leaves and Miss Caroline, the Crinoline Belle pattern is by Martha Ess done in Lizbeth #620 Azalea Med.

Bonnie received from her partner in the Knot Tonight Josephine exchange, a lovely card with tatted lilacs and a tatted suncatcher. The tatted umbrella is what she sent her partner.

Bree is working on a lovely hanky edging in pink. The beautifully tatted pendant she received from Miranda when she got the traveling book.

Cindy tatted Frivole's Flowering Quatrain Bookmark in Size 20 Lizbeth.

Diane has been working on the oval doily and here are rounds 2,3 and 4.

Fox has been finishing off ends of thread like this one doing a bit from the Occhi book. She has assembled a selection of goodies for a giveaway and she received a package from across the pond.

Frivole received some Jade n Salmon HDT from Jess and she did the lock chain design to try it out. It looked so pretty she had to try it again in solid colours.

IsDihara tatted strings of rings in Lizbeth size 40 #167 Jungle Greens for the Palmetto Tat Days scholarship quilt project while on holidays. She also finished Maus'(Etha Schuette) Old Fashioned Heart which she began before her holidays. At this point of progress it reminds her of a ballerina's tutu. Regal Snowflake by La Cossette was completed as she sat watching hummingbirds flit around the feeders.

Jess did these 2 motifs of her own design in size 40 Tat-ilicious HDT
left: A Messy Jess!-y and right: Sunrise.

Orsi shows us two new pieces of tatted lace, for summer lace jewels.

Wanda started with the center of one of her snowflakes to make barefoot sandals for her daughters. Wisteria Necklace is the next design she has started from Sherry's book Branching Encapsulation.
