Eggs, Four Leaf Clovers, and Holiday Tatting

Tami tatted this egg cover pattern by Terry McGuffin and added a crystal and tassel at the bottom. Bev's UFO, the chatelaine for her daughter Kristen is finally finished. The bookmark is a Nancy Tracy design for Bev's cousin Peggy and it's tatted in Valdani size 8 thread. It's #21 for the challenge and was tucked into her St. Patrick's Day card. The shamrock was made into a pin for her soon-to-be age 90 friend, Pearl. Have you noticed that most of Bev's tatting gets given away? Bev ordered a matching purse and fascinator from Zena Herbert and these earrings came with the package.
Mrs John's pictures of doilies aren't showing up

Jeff tatted Ruth Perry's Celtic 4 Leaf Clover from the Tatting Calendar for St Patrick's day.Ellen had a chance to meet and chat with other tatters, which is always a treat. Her tatted Vanda Miss Joaquim, done with Flora 20 threads is absolutely gorgeous.Diane is still working hard on her tatting and she's finding size 10 thread easier to work with. Having your hand in a brace doesn't help with the tension. The yellow piece is Mary Konior's Spinning Wheel Glass Mat from "Tatting With Visual Patterns", size 10 DMC Cebelia #745, tatting shuttle by Grizzly Mountain Arts. The pink is Laura Blanton's Victorian Heart, size 20 Coats Mercer Crochet #403, tatting shuttle by Sherry Pence.Pamela shows us Martha Ess' new book "Holidays on the Block". She's already tatted lots of pairs of flip flops in lots of colours.
Ruth's 2008 Celtic Cross along with a lot of other lovely patterns are available from the Tatting Pattern Calendar and Ruth has given us a link for all of the Easter patterns.
Clyde gives his version of how to unwind a skein of thread.

Laura tatted her snowflake again using Sherry's Easter Egg thread and scanned both snowflakes together for comparison. Melissa has finished her CQ tea cozy with it's label bordered in tatting. Sherry shows how she unwinds skeins of thread. There's a new batch of ceramic shuttles ready to be fired.

Martha's new book is out. More information HERE.
