Marthanne thought row 10 moved along so quickly that she was surprised when it was done. Here is the doily in size #20. She has been able to tat both doilys on the same evening and you can see row 9 in size 40 is a MUCH slower tat, but working it first in the larger thread set the pattern in her mind.
Elsa wanted to make a gift for a friend and used a beaded version of Nellie Ellison's Border No. 67. She used beige coloured thread with 11/0 cream coloured rocks and round 3 mm pearls resulting in a lovely beaded necklace. She thinks she will have the matching BaBo bracelet done soon with a thicker thread and two small differences: for lack of finding the right colour, there will be no ribbon, and round pearls will not be transparent and she opted for freshwater pearls.
Diane tatted 3 more Ice Drops in Spring Garden and she's getting close to the end of the ball of thread. In spite of her dedication to weaving she did get another Ice Drop done and she'll have to keep at it if she wants a stash of them for Christmas.
Margaret has posted the start of her latest project done in white Lizbeth size 20.
Marie posted her latest cross from her favourite book. This is a brooch she made for Mother's Day. The smaller was made with size 20 thread and the larger with size 10.
Sue needs some suncatchers for some special ladies, so she's tatting in Lizbeth size 40 Butterfly Breeze, with bingo chips, cheap plastic kids beads, and small glass beads and a bangle bracelet and she doesn't even mind working with all these paperclips. She did the first one in yellow with a tatted heart in the centre, and the newest one with a tiny butterfly.
