Snowflakes, Motifs, Doily, Bookmark, and Hearts

Sue tatted the Beaded Snowflake from Tatted Snowflakes by Vida Sunderman. Tatted in size 10 thread with blue beads. The one on the left was done before, the one on the right was done later and you can see a big improvement.

Sunshinecraft tried out floss threaders and a needle threader for the magic thread trick. Personally I never use MT because anything that can be pulled under the stitches can just as easily pull out. I sew the ends in zigzagged up and down through the caps of the stitches. They are secure and invisible.
IsDihara was sent a sample of size 80 Lizbeth thread in Caribbean and the colour spacing on this thread is very short.
Wanda isn't happy with the way the centre of the doily is working out so she plans on doing it again with a few more stitches in another colour. The cross bookmark is one of het patterns made with Lizbeth size 20 thread in Springtime(?) and purple. Fox was having to fight this motif so she just put it down and walked away. When she came back to it, everything just worked together. Nita tatted this medallion in red and white with size 20 thread worked from a chart a friend did for her from something on the internet. Susan Fuller's Heart's Desire was tatted in Lizbeth size 20 thread.
