Orsi has provided the pattern for the doily she did recently.
Linda combined a redesigned pattern from Jane Eborall with a pattern from Susan Taliaferro to make this Shamrock bookmark that is set off with an emerald gem and green ribbons. The same pattern was done complete with the outer row of dark green and repeated the centre shamrock to make tassels.
Barbara tatted the Shamrock by Betsy Evans in Lizbeth size 20 in colors 152 and 638 for St Patrick's Day.
Diane's "snowflake" is really the first round of Alexandra from Tatting Patterns by Lyn Morton tatted in size 20 Lizbeth, color #662.
Isa saw a pretty edging on a Turkish web site but couldn't find a pattern, so she tried to work out a design of her own. Her first attempt didn't quite come out the way she wants it, so she's going to do it again. This motif is another edging she found on a Turkish website without a pattern.
Kat needed some tatting for a wedding card and Jon Jusoff's Entwined hearts was perfect.
Katherinne got bored working on the doily and took a break to tat earrings with and without beads. Her roommate likes the one with beads.
Lily has shown us what she means by painting with thread. In order to get a gradual colour change she has used several strands of thread and several shades of the same colour so that by gradually adding in more strands of the darker threads, the whole piece of lace changes colour by slow degrees. The doily changed too dramatically, but you can see the more gradual change in the flower.
Sue tatted Anniversary from Tatting with Visual Patterns by Mary Konior in size 10 rainbow variegated thread and used it to decorate a tote bag.
