Sarah has decided to join the challenge and begins with this motif that is part of Elgiva heart from Martha Ess' book Playing with Picots.

Batty Tatter made this butterfly without the pearls from Shabby Chick Tatting by Rozella F. Linden and didn't realize until she saw it in daylight that she'd used two different shades of white.

Julie used Lizbeth 20 White with Miyuki 6 mm bugles and 8/0 seed beads to tat Ice Queen by Joëlle Paulson. She's made the Heavenly Snowflake by Joelle before in a variegated thread, but did it again, this time in white with beads.

Sue tatted another pair of tiny snowflake earrings using Jane Eborall's pattern.

Nancy shares her tatted Christmas tree along with wishes for a Merry Christmas.

Fox has a handle on the ins and outs, ups and downs of this Land of Laces piece which she's working in Lea's #50 thread. She's down to the cross your fingers and hope there's enough thread on the bobbin working on this edging. (Been there, done that, scrounged through the scrap bin for enough to splice in and finish!) TA DA! There was enough, and now another lovely hanky is done.

Jenn shares a collage of tatted snowflakes and motifs with wishes for a Merry Christmas. She recently purchased some beading needles that allowed her to finally attempt Corina Meyfeldt's Snowflake. Now she's thinking of buying more bugle beads so she can tat more. This cute flower motif by Jennifer Williams let her finish her personal challenge of 15 in 2015.

Lilas is thinking her To Do list has become unmanageable, but she did get this white lace and pearl necklace done.

Marie made this bracelet by C-M Handmade and had enough thread left over to make a bookmark. Then a little left over thread made a zipper pull. The last bracelet was given to her sister, so she had to make one for herself. Of course what is a bracelet without earrings?

HisKid just had to get some tatting in and chose to test tat one of Elaine P. Gan's bracelets in size 40 Kaleidoscope HDT, although she may use it as a bookmark instead.

Wanda's Christmas wishes are shared with a tatted snowflake and button ornament. Wanda tatted the plane on the right a few years ago and the friend she gave it to had it hanging on the wall looking a bit droopy. This year she tatted the one on the left and mounted both of them so that they can hang proudly on the wall. She had requests for the button ornament patterns and she has posted a few of them on her patterns page.

Mary Lena tested out some hand dyed thread she acquired in a giveaway and found the thread to be superb and easy to work with.

Julie's recent creation is a pair of earrings from a Russian pattern by Zelgulab worked in size 30 polyester thread with Miyuki beads. Some time ago she organized a tatalong using the Norma Benporath mat following Jon Yusoff's instructions and here she has posted the results of the 27 participants, along with her's shown here. Sue whipped up these earrings as a birthday gift for a friend using her favourite colours.

Diane  finished round 9 and carefully marked where she needs to join round 10. Here's the start of the next rows. One more completed pattern repeat of rounds 10 and 11. This is the half way mark. Another repeat completed. Seventh repeat done. Only 2 more repeats to go. Just one more repeat and she's back to where she had to snip!

Erisnyx was invited to a baby shower, and tatted the baby's name using the patterns from The Tatter's Paradise in size 10 thread. This cute little Shuttlebug is a Jane Eborall pattern done in Lizbeth size 20, #132 and #684. This simple bookmark that she made for a friend is an easy pattern similar to the Easy Bookmark from Learn to Tat by Janette Baker, worked in Lizbeth size 20, #604 and #656.

Fox thinks that maybe this is going to be a much smaller mat than she imagined being worked in size 80 thread. Needing a break from the Fikkert doily, she tatted a motif from New Tatting by Tomoko Morimoto and sewed it onto the pocket of a white shirt. With all 12 motifs tatted around Buttercup, it's much smaller than anticipated.

Jenn test tatted the first motif of a doily by Elaine P. Gan.

Margaret used an on line pattern to create these earrings in size 20 thread. The top two in the picture are without beads, in Springtime and black and white. The purple and white set, with purple and white beads are shown in close up. These earrings are called Rainbow and the link on her page shows how to make them with detailed instructions.

Marie created this bridal cameo and needed to drill some holes to attach the tatting. Delicate white lace with pearls and clear sparkling beads makes a lovely bridal hanky. This antique looking pendant was created from a single earring. Part of a broken link bracelet has been re-purposed to make this pendant. Robin Perfetti's Eclipse snowflake was tatted in size 80 thread. Pearls enhance another of Robin's snowflake designs.

Martha received honourable mention for her submission in the Piecework Magazine contest.

HisKid tatted this piece in size 40 thread and it was supposed to be a beaded lanyard for a friend, but the thread is too fine so she played around with it. She used size 40 Lizbeth Tropical Punch, and size 40 Yarnplayer's HDT Celery to make the  centre for the doily by Elaine P. Gan.

Wanda tatted a new zipper pull for her purse to replace the old one that had worn out. A take off on Marilee Rockley's work produced these quick earrings.
