Butterfly, Flower, TIAS, Snowflakes, Doilies, Earrings, Pendants, Crosses and Suncatcher

Mary Lena saw beaded earrings on Agnieszka Przeniosło's Facebook page and decided to do her own version which came out like a butterfly. On her next variation she made a flower.

JulieP has day 9 of TIAS done and it's become even more mysterious.

Sue also has day 9 done and she still thinks it's an elephant foot umbrella stand with the umbrellas falling out.

Cindy always regrets that she doesn't have enough snowflakes or Christmas ornaments done for the holidays and she found some hooks on sale. So this year she decided to start in January and here are 2 snowflakes from Jon Yusoff that she did, Spring Blossom and Sunburst.

Diane has 14 pattern repeats done on the current row. The next day was busy so she managed only one more repeat.

Fox thinks day 9 of TIAS looks like the Eiffel Tower. Row 10 of the design by Tomoko Morimoto has lots of chains.

Marie used two strands of silver sewing thread around a blue cats-eye and blue seed beads to make this pendant and earring set. These snowflakes come from Jon Yusoff's, Tatting with Rings although she adjusted the stitch cound to allow for the larger rings used.

Phyllis has her TIAS through day 9 done in her own Rust HDTand she thinks the bottom looks like goucho pants.

Sue made the Cross Bookmark pattern from Jennifer Williams in size 40 Lizbeth Christmas Red and Angel's Love. Sue Hanson's Val's Suncatcher was tatted in size 40 Yarnplayer's HDT Celery with 4mm peridot bicone beads. The Big Crosses from Tatting Patterns & Designs from Gun Blomqvist and Elwy Persson are worked in size 10 threads.

Bauble Mouse, Doilies, TIAS, Pendants, Earrings, Suncatchers and Pig

Sue is pleased to present Al the albino mouse who is obviously made from a bauble.

Diane is please to be back to where she was when the mistake on her doily was noted. At this point of the TIAS Diane thinks it looks like needle nose pliers. She's a little bit further along on her doily although she made a mistake again and decided to retro tat instead of cut.

Fox has finished the lovely design by Jan Stawasz done in white, #60 DMC Cordonnet which ended up being 17 inches across and it's already on way to her daughter. She wasn't impressed with the thread and won't be ordering it again.

Marie used 2 strands of gold sewing thread to tat around a purple cats-eye when making this purple pendant and earring set. The pink set also used 2 strands of gold sewing thread, but with pink stones.

Stephanie has day 8 of TIAS done and still doesn't know what she is tatting, maybe the letter X or a lobster claw, whatever it is she's having fun tatting it.

HisKid has been tatting suncatchers for some wonderful senior ladies using Sue Hanson's Val's Suncatcher pattern in size 40 Lizbeth Rainbow splash with gold bugle beads, Fruit Fizz with iridescent bugle beads
and Sea Island Citrus with green beads.

Wanda created these purple earrings for a lady at work who loves purple. She also tatted her Jane's not flying pig, in purple of course.

TIAS, Baubles, Heart, Motifs, Doilies, Star, Ornament, Angel and Bookmark

JulieP at Day 8 of TIAS thinks this might be a bunny, but there is still more to come.

Sue has day 8 of TIAS done and thinks it's a kellywopter, kind of like a thingamajig. She made a run at a bauble mouse, but got the ribs switched at the last round and didn't notice until she'd tied off her threads.

Lelia is working Jane's TIAS in different colours of thread. Grace Tan's heart pattern with beads added done in Lizbeth size 20 colour #129. She started  off with a pattern in New Tatting by Tomoko Morimoto, but she thinks she used a different size thread so the floral motif here has 6 petals instead of 5 as shown in pattern tatted in Lizbeth, size 20 Jelly Bean #119. She's been working on a few doodles to empty shuttles. Here are her TIAS pieces done in lots of colours.

Linda has several large projects on the go including this doily which has a few more rounds to go.

Claire used Lizbeth size 20, Ocean Sunset #155 to tat Eliz Davis' Valeire Square Teardrop Heart. TIAS days 6,7 and 8. Is it a bunny or a crocodile?

Diane didn't do much except fix her mistake on the most recent round of the doily. At least, she thought she had. She skipped every other ring, and it was pointed out to her that she was only supposed to skip the ring under the single ring in this round. At least she didn't get too far. Snip, snip. She's back on track.

Fox thinks day 8 of TIAS looks like a poisonous spider. Maybe.

Kristen is another tatter bit by the bauble bug and she's working through Tatting GR-8 Baubles, Bugs, and Blossoms by the Shuttle Brothers making her first bauble. This is her second one, front and back.

Margaret won this lovely organza bag from Wendy's Blog with a tatted motif called shooting star in Ice Blue thread.

Marie shows us one of the Christmas balls made in Purple and Pearls that she sent to her Mom's house.

Martha found Victoria, an angel pattern by Monica Hahn, very interesting to make, and she was reminded of it recently as there is a possibility that the book it's in, Book 5 of the Ribbonwinners Series "Tatting with Friends" may be reprinted.

Muskaan tatted Aislyn's bookmark designed by Carrie Neahring for her daughter, as an incentive to finish reading her book. She used Anchor Mercer Crochet size 20 in white, yellow 4054-0289, Green 4054-1213 and Brown/Tan 4054-1218. TIAS day 7 looked like a bunny but day 8 is looking like scissors.

Stephanie is also working on TIAS and has day 7 completed. From this angle on the scanner it looks like a tooth.
