Marta has created another sensational bracelet and earring set.
Fox is DE-stashing and has posted a picture motifs tatted in the Valdani threads. She decided to go with the red DMC 80 thread and tiny gold beads for the hanky edging using a design from the Tatted Artistry of Teiko Fujito. She has decided to use the pink and green Flora with beads or course and she's loving it and her new tattoo, that she had darkened a little so she can see it better.
Katherinne was tatting away on this edging with loaded shuttle so she wouldn't have any ends to hide, and even re-worked the pattern for it to be one shuttle with un-flipped stitches mock rings, and then... She ran into a knot tied in the ball of thread. It's very distressing when you really don't want ends, but ends go with tatting. I have a tutorial on how to invisibly add in new thread as you are tatting so when you come to a knot, just cut the thread and add in new. Because most of my tatting are new designs I frequently have to cut the thread and start again, it doesn't have to be a big deal.
