Ice Drops, Doilies, Earrings, Bracelet, Snowflake and Bookmark

Diane tatted a variation of her Blue Fudge pattern that she really likes, tatting the back first and then tatting the round that holds the gem in, which allowed her to block the back with the steam iron. She has graciously created the pattern in a PDF for anyone who'd like to email her for it. Her friend really liked the design of the Spring Garden Ice Drop and she also liked the glass gem in this Pink Ice Drop, but she wanted to see it in ecru or cream thread. Here is the result. Diane's friend Jane is going on a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic the last week in April and wants 300 Ice Drops to share with patients, to date she has 83 and Diane has issued a request for others to send their spare Ice Drops to Jane. If you have any to share please contact Diane for her friend Jane's mailing address.

Margaret started this doily in size 20 Sea Island Citrus in October 2012 but when she got to this point the last round got too boring to continue and she put it away. Since she wants to start another project she's decided that she needs to finish this one first.

Marie tatted a couple of her Pinwheel earrings for her sisters. The bracelet matches the earrings.

Muskaan tatted a garland of marigolds separated by mango leaves. Onion ring flowers give this design depth and character.

Sue tatted Robin Perfetti's First Snowfall in size 40 Lizbeth Snow White, which came out to be exactly the same size as the pictured snowflake and it's designed to be another ornament.

Wanda finally found the thread, which she thinks is colour #646 Purple Iris Lt. and changed her UFO (unfinished object) into a completed bookmark. It drives me nuts when I have a UFO with just a little bit left to tat and I have no idea what the thread is, or if I even have any of it left.

I'm sure there are a lot of Ice Drop addicts that will love to have an excuse to tat more :-)
