Angel, Motifs, Doilies, Flowers and Butterflies

Ginny has tatted the collar and the halo for the angel. She didn't want to stiffen the halo, so she used a metal center and tatted it onto a bangle bracelet so it would hold it's shape year after year. Most interesting of all, she used a shuttle shaped bead and attached her tatting to it. That's right, the angel is tatting!

Ancolie has another motif done. This one is #24.

Diane was able to finish round 6 of Doily 4 from Tatted Fashion by Teiko Fujito and it's now 8" across.

Fox has tatted a Remembrance Day Poppy using a pattern by Jon Yusoff.

Margaret shows us this design that was the centre of a snowflake that didn't turn out quite right, but it makes a lovely flower for a card. Little bits of left over thread become small butterflies to enhance other cards and nothing gets wasted.

I am just learning shuttle tatting and this looks like a great way to encourage me to practice! My first two items are on my new blog.
