Bookmarks, Motifs, Dachshund, Edging, Necklaces, Bracelet, Earrings, Snowflakes, Leaves

Stephanie Grace decided to try the turquoise thread with silver, but decided she didn't like this combination either, but persisted because someone will. Then she thought she'd do the glass mat from the Handy Hands newsletter and started with the turquoise thread on the shuttle. Then she wanted to see 2 together, only now she's not sure what to do with this.

Linda is making a CQ tea cosy that will have a small fan block on one side and on the other side she has this tatted fan.
Bonnie attempted the dachshund from Martha Ess' More Critters on the Block, but the first try didn't go so well. As you can see the second version was successful and was intended for a fabric postcard.

Diane mad another try at the edging using a different green HDT that she thinks is a size 40, but it's working up a little too fine for what her sister wants. Yarnplayer's "Fern" is a little too bright, but her "Spring Grass" might be just right.

Fox's muse is back. Look what's cooking up now.
Gina is working through the DMC Tatting publication and has made one of the insertions, often called beading which is often used with a ribbon running through the middle. The pattern calls for crocheted header and footer which Gina has tried 2 different ways and it doesn't seem quite right, but that mat be due to the threads used.

Isa made this pair of earrings and then did another design. Here is the whole set all made with the same beads and brown silk thread.

Mica tatted the 23 day of December from Bjørn's 24 Snowflakes in Tatting with 1 strand DMC metallic floss. She notes that the spiral chains may look pretty, but they are a pain to make with metallic thread.

Vanessa made lots of leaves designed by Ruth Scharf and pears based on Karey Solomon's grapes in her book Tree of Life. Then she added them to the tree trunk she designed. It's now part of a centre piece of a wall hanging.
