Snowflakes, Bookmark, Leaves and Ornaments

Charlotte has dusted off her tatting shuttles and joined in the fun again, beginning with Eileen Stafford's snowflake tatted in size 20 Lizbeth thread. Her most recent tatting skill is the self-closing mock ring which was used to complete the floret snowflake from Jon Yusoff's Tatted Snowflakes Collection.

Bev has some Christmas tatting to show. Mark Meyer's Christmas Stocking design and a Candy Cane from Kaye Judte's recent book: 'O Little of this and 'O little of Tatted in Flora red and Lisbeth snowy white with a bit of green Valdani thread. For for the Tatting Forum's November Bookmark she made a Sassy Serpent.

BSOTF did these baubles for her tree last year, and now it's time to do something new. They're quite small to match her little tree.

Fox started in on a snowflake that didn't work out so she switched to Karey's leaf which was giving her a hard time until she plotted it out on a magnified diagram. The beads caused issues, so she started again and persevered. The greens are #40 Mercer from TypsTatting and #40 Coron, from Umintsuru.

Lily's mystery motif is done except for the second side and eyes at the top.
