Ingrid tatted a bookmark with Goldmann polyester thread using the pattern that Wanda shared. it was too fine for a bracelet, but it works sell as a bookmark. This is the centerpiece of a doily designed by Jan Voskes published in an issue of the Frivolité(k)ring, a Dutch newsletter but she miscounted the picots on the chain and doesn't want to continue with it this way since it probably won't fit right with the rest of the design.
Isabel used Gina Butler's pattern to tat an assortment of charming hats which were decorated with little flowers for her local tatting group.
Linda was at a quilt show with a featured artist. This is one of the quilt blocks in the display.
Wanda used Lizbeth Falling Leaves and black in size 20 for this bookmark, then looking ahead to winter she tatted a snowflake and tree bookmark from DMC's Tatting for Today in white although the bookmark isn't exactly as written.Diane has been receiving things in the mail. First there was a card embellished with tatting from Tatting Marie, then there was motif with clunies from Fox, that came with buttons and a decorated shuttle.
Fox used Krystle's lovely watermelon HDT and crimson beads to tat this pattern by Samantha Melnychuk. She needed a wee break before starting the green dragon. The need for the break may have something to do with walking into a window. I can relate having had a similar event getting up close and personal with a floor.
Laura attended a workshop in Melbourne, Victoria which resulted in a lot of travel time with nothing much to do, so of course she tatted. Here are 3 versions of Stumpy done in assorted perle 8 variegated thread left over from some bobbin lace projects. I didn't think Laura had forgotten, but with all of her other projects I was wondering if she had any time for tatting.
Mica likes Day 20 from Bjørn's 24 Snowflakes in Tatting, but SCMRs are hard to make using metallic thread. So here is her variation omitting the top ring which obviates the need for them, and much improves the look of the snowflake.
