Margaret started playing with interlocking rings and she liked the idea so much she made a pair of earrings with the design.
Marie is still tatting dragons. These are in size 20 Lizbeth Fruit Fizz and the second is in Lizbeth, size 20, Mountain Breeze.
Julie shares more of her grandmother's tatting, table linens with tatted insertions.
Linda's CQ block is embellished with a tatted frog on a felt lily pad done in size 80, Lizbeth Spring Green. The first frog she did in size 40, Lizbeth Leafy Green with the tatted lily pad but it was too big to fit, so she had to re-do it in size 80.
Cindy was started on the Tiger Eye Earrings pattern by Elizabeth Zipay before she went on holiday and really likes the neutral thread color with mauve/brown beads.
Diane tatted another snowflake with a doodad centre so now she has 3 new snowflakes for her Christmas tree. The enthusiasm for tatting around doodads hasn't waned and here is her latest snowflake and she thinks she likes it best.
Fox is tatting Linda Davis' Coronet Doily and having trouble with the last round due to her directional issues and the soft breakable Valdani thread. Umintsuru test tatted Fox's Lillian pattern and it turned out beautiful.
Frivole has some Messy Jessy thread that she used for this maple leaf and more Messy Jessy thread she used for Mary Konior's Josephine Wreath from her book A Pattern Book of Tatting. More of the Messy Jessy thread in size 40 was used for this butterfly. Here is an earlier version of the butterfly using a rolled, partly-closed ring for the body design. This is a sampling of the flutters she did while perfecting the design. A butterfly collection in thread!
Sue's friend Cheryl has just learned to tat and after making her first row of ring and chain she glued it on to a card in the shape of a heart and gave it to her husband.
