Nancy has been tatting Candy Cane ornaments to go in Christmas cards and a 3D Christmas tree encrusted with seed beads.
Linda loves the challenge of doing Nancy Tracy's Tatted Doily, an oblong design, instead of the traditional circle. She found the side ends a little tricky requiring concentration. She had all these bobbins filled with left over size 20 thread so she's been making these 6 ring motifs and joining them together. If she keeps at it long enough she might end up with a tablecloth or bedspread.
Ancolie has finished another 25 motifs! Congratulations and keep it up.
Diane has the penultimate round completed. This is the start of the last round, but those pattern repeats are enormous. It's going to be slow going on this doily when each repeat is taking over an hour. (It's at this point that I start chanting 'don't make a mistake, don't make a mistake..')
Fox tatted Nancy Tracy's motif yet again and she's wondering if the thread is why it doesn't look as symmetrical as she'd like. She paired some orange beads she received from Miranda with some HDT from Monica. The Lilac thread came from Ladytats. She's working on a new pattern, tatted in Sulky. Dahlia, by Karey Solomon which she worked in HDT and orange beads was fine until she hit the middle. She kind of did her own thing on the 6th row and it seems to have worked, but she's not convinced she worked it as intended. Of course part of the issue is that she's working in size 80 on a pattern that's intended for size 20 as you can see in the picture with the shuttle for scale. This purple motif, by Kirsten Christensen,
using #40 Lizbeth, is the same size as the #80 piece. She's loving the look of this piece done in Sulky thread.
Kristen has been traveling which hasn't left a lot of time for tatting, but she did manage this heart done in size 80 DMC, although she doesn't know the source of the pattern. She has also been working on this edging in Perfect Quilter thread.
Marie found a broach at an estate sale and added tatting in pearl cotton #12. The pillowcase is a birthday present for her niece using an edging is from The Peacock Book and tatted with Lizbeth, size 20, Leaf Green and Azalea. An edging for a wedding present, on a pair of pillowcases is done with size 10 crochet thread in gold, with a gold filament and white, with a gold filament using a pattern from The Tatted Artistry of Teiko Fujito. The Christmas ornament was tatted with size 30 crochet thread.
Wanda used Lizbeth #651 size 20 and the centre from from a previous snowflake with a little something more on the outside.

Doilies, Bracelet, Teapot, Pin, Earrings, Bookmarks, Heart, Ornament and Suncatcher
Aysh is working on Bukiet kwiatow w wazonie from the Jan Stawasz book, Frywolitka, where she's counting each round as a motif. Whatever keeps you tatting is a great idea.
Cigdem has been creating some new laces like this Black Lace Slave Bracelet. Lizbeth threads in black and several sizes of faceted jet black glass beads were used.
mb duke used White and Royal Blue Lizbeth size 20 to tat Martha's Maltese Tea Set from Tea is for Tatting.
Marta created this ANKARS inspired piece and then created earrings to match in a lovely green thread and an assortment of different beads.
Carrie has been tatting an assortment of variations on Dianna Stevens' Simple Bookmark in size 10 ecru, pink, white, and size 20 cream. Then she messed up the chains on one done in size 10 white, but maintained uniformity in her mistake, so it still looks good. Another Janette Baker bookmark, in size 10 white. A bunch of about 30 flowers all tatted in size 10 using Leila's pattern, and patterns from Lindsay Rogers' book Tatting Collage, are ready to be layered into hair pins. A few variations on the Kersti's Stumpy Bookmark in size 10 pink and white. Finally, this is Birgit's Celtic Heart in Southmaid variegated pink and Coats ecru, both size 10, which she made for her Aunt Maryann. If she doesn't count the flowers, this makes it another 25 motifs completed.
Cindy loved the Cranberry Bush Lizbeth thread in beautiful Christmas colours and she loved the photo on Pinterest of this pretty edging she wanted to try. It seemed like it would make a perfect Christmas ornament, which it did...it just didn't match what she had pictured in her head. The advantage to this situation is that when she tries it again she'll end up with 2 pretty ornaments instead of one.
Diane managed another 12 repeats on this row of her doily. Progress gets slower the larger the rounds are and she figures she'll get it done in time to start snowflakes for Christmas.
Martha shared her block for the Flower quilt. This is the block for the Teapot quilt. The teapot is her own pattern, and the curlicues are inspired by the Flower & Vine pattern Ruth Perry/Rozella Linden shared with the online class.
Sue's mother-in-law wants 2 more suncatchers for her lampshade so she did the Silver Charm Suncatcher Ornament from the Big Book of Tatting by Darlene Polachic in Lizbeth size 40 Autumn Spice, and Honey Drizzle, for Christmas.

Bracelet, Earrings, Doilies, Bookmarks, Motifs and Crosses
Debbie has joined the challenge. Here are the Floret Earrings using a pattern by Marilee Rockley and the Classic Edge Bracelet also designed by Marilee. The blue earrings are made with crochet thread and seed beads, while the black bracelet and necklace are made with Finca No. 5 thread.
Linda's CQ block for October sports a mini doily tatted in bright orange.
Carrie tatted Kersti's Stumpy bookmark in Southmaid, a variegated pink, size 10. She started another one in Aunt Lydia's size 10 thread in white, but got a little side tracked and decided to just go with it. In the end she had a new design that she's calling either Dadratted Heart or Criminy!. Maybe alcohol and tatting together aren't as good a combination as chocolate and tatting.
Diane reports that Doily 4 from Tatted Fashion by Teiko Fujito is now 9" with two rounds to go. She only has seven pattern repeats done, but she loves the way this round is looking.
Fox presents Milena, a one round wonder by Iris Niebach from the little publication Tatted Doilies. It's tatted with Sulky which she had so much trouble with earlier, but she tamed it and it finally submitted.
Marie was inspired by Corina's Beaded Flower to make this bracelet in Lizbeth, size 20, gold and purple dark, which was tatted in one round. Then she used it again as a basis for this Royal Cross which was tricky to tat using 4 shuttles.
Martha adopted a problematic CQ block for the Palmetto's fundraiser and found an ingenious method of fixing it. Of course she also added lots of tatting embellishment.
Wanda spent some time travelling and chose a simple pattern to work on as she was tatting in the dark.
