Tatters Unite! - Please read

Recently numerous tatters have had the pictures of the tatting on their blogs and web sites taken to advertise patterns for sale on this web site:
http://www.timelesstattingpatterns.com/gallery/

The manual offered for sale is a copy of the public domain books freely available from the Antique Pattern Library , so this web site is a complete rip off. It is using the beautiful pictures from the tatting community to gain profit. Previous requests to desist do not appear to have had any effect.

PLEASE - check the gallery on the 'timeless' page and see if any of the images from your website or blog are there. If they are there, take the following steps.

1. Write to Eileen Morgan the name shown on the page using the
address she gives for contact
support@timelesstattingpatterns.com
and ask her politely to remove them.

2. Write to Defender Technologies Group, LLC.
http://www.defenderhosting.com/
at the following addresses
Sales@DefenderHosting.com
abuse@powervps.com

a) send them a copy of the image.
b) send them a link to the place on your blog or website where the picture was taken from.
c) send them a copy of your email to her requesting that the image be removed.
d) request the server, Defender Technologies Group, LLC, to remove the image, pointing out that it is being used for false advertising.

Just simply tell them that the attached image from your web site
(give them the address) was taken without your knowledge or permission and is being used to promote a manual she sells that is a copy of public domain material available for free elsewhere on the internet.

Taking from one tatter takes from us all, but collectively we do have a voice.

Additional note: Originally I had given the sales email address which is shown on the Defender Technologies Group, LLC. web site, but then was given the abuse address in a subsequent email. I would suggest writing to both addresses.

Thank you Sharon for posting this information. It really burns my butt to see what this woman is doing with members photos and free patterns. Hopefully someone will be able to stop her soon.

Thank you Sharon, I personally have not had any photos taken from my blog or eTatters but I have seen plenty of my fellow tatter's that have. I am going to post a link to this post on the 2 people at eTatters whom I've seen had their photos taken.

Thank you for the clear instructions, Sharon. I'm sending emails as suggested, since friends pointed out to me that I had one of my photos used without my knowledge.

Sharon, I started a discussion forum at eTatters with a link to your post here to help tatters who have had their photos stolen from there. Kersti the site administrator found this link also which has a supposed street address.

Thank you so much Sharon. They haven't taken anything of mine, but I have been so steamed about this and couldn't find anyone to contact. This will help all of us tremendously!

Thank you for the additional information Sharon. It has been clear that contacting the website owner is not working but I wasn't clear on what the next step should be. This is a clear and easy process and I hope everyone who finds their image on there follows through. It's not good press for legitimate tatters.

Thanks Sharon, she got (at least) one of my images. I don't know if it was via Ravelry or from Flickr (where it was clearly marked "all rights reserved.) I've since turned off public search etc, and have written too.

Thanks for the information, Sharon. I haven't had any images taken, but I have recognized the work of fellow tatters.

The image of the Celtic Egg was mine! I was so surprised when some one had told me about it. I went to the site today and it is now under construction which in itself might mean something. I have never had anything like this happen to me before.
