Wooroosa has been tatting rather than trying to sleep in the heat. The motif is Anemone from Iris Niebach's Tatting Fantasia #1 tatted in Lizbeth colour 118 size 40 which was given to her by her friend.
Marie tatted the Glass Doily adapted by Kendra Goodnow from Senco Book and worked in Lizbeth, size 20, Tropical Punch. She tatted the Roses are Red motif from Victats in pearl cotton size 8. The Corner Bookmark from Nina Libin's, Lace of Beads was done in size 10 crochet cotton.
Lelia received a lovely tatted rose motif when she got together with the Tollway tatters. She has been going through the on-line tatting lessons via Craftsy and has noticed an improvement in her tatting. Origami and tatting look like a good mix.
Axa tatted these earrings with fine metallic thread and beads.
Garyo tatted Mary Konior's Black Magic in Lizbeth #40 Turquoise Col.657, Green #679 and then in Lizbeth #40 Green #679 and she thinks the second one is improved so she's wondering if the next one would be even better. Then she made Nina Libin's bead-tatted motif in silk thread with beads for bead weaving. Threading the beads was annoying but the result is neat.
Marta has created a necklace that looks like a royal icing confection. Do you wear it or eat it?
Bonnie tatted Romantic Heart with directions by Beelizabeth using HDT thread for a friend who is retiring.
Fox has re-done her Heart for Misha and she's writing up the pattern now. This sample was done in Lizbeth size 40.
Frances bought some thread from Jess which she thinks is Western Red size 20 but she lost the label, that she tatted into a length of edging from Tatted Doilies and Edgings by Rita Weiss and when she finds a centre that it fits, it will be completed. She is also tatting snowflakes for a project like this one done in size 10 white and this snowflake modified edging with blue beads also in size 10.
Frivole is having fun with lots of layered flowers. She is intrigued by Rachel Colvin Jackson's Rosalie pattern but she doesn't needle tat and as a consequence has been looking for a video to help her shuttle tat it. Finally, here is her first interlocking rings rosette.
Jess is thinking of entering something in the fair and she's been working on Mary Maynard's Tatting a 4 square ring in Havana size 40. This bracelet was done with hand wound thread one strand of size 40 Lizbeth Turquoise Light and one of Purple Medium. The center medallion on this bracelet is one of Sherry's ceramic medallions backed in blue jean material with Mindanao Gum size 40 HDT. This little flower was tatted with Size 20 Stardust.
Kelly found time to tat Mary Konior`s Spinning Wheel in size 40 Lizbeth colour #154 Wildflower Garden and she really enjoyed tatting it.
Martha was having tatter's block until she paired up Tatted Butterflies by Adelheid Dangela with Karey Solomon's hand painted County Fair HDT. Gorgeous thread, gorgeous butterflies, what's not to love?
Michelle had a horrible rainy day for the fleamarket and consequently not much in the way of sales. This is her final rose design, a lovely bracelet.
Wanda used Sherry's Branching Encapsulation and Lizbeth Lime Green #679, Bright Orange #695, Autumn Orange Medium #696, Lemon Light #614, and Leaf Green Dark #676, all in size 20 to create a stunning photo album as a wedding gift done in the wedding colours.

Hi Sharon! Is there any way to comment on Wooroosa's blog? I can't seem to find the 'comment' area. Fortunately, she does 'translate' to English. I wanted to compliment her beautiful Iris Neibach motif.
