The Guidelines
1. Permission to copy. When a participant joins they are authorizing us to copy their pictures to be shown on the challenge blog.2. There is no need to advise the Challenge Team to let let us know when you've added things to your blog. We check all of the blogs when we do an update.
3. We can't keep track of how many motifs each person does. You may post articles of tatting that you don't plan on including in your 25, or you may post a pair of earrings and count each earring as a separate motif. We don't read minds, so it's up to each participant to tell us when they have reached their goal of 25.
4. We know from past experience that the challenge is addictive. If you finish and plan on doing it again let us know so that we continue to check your blog on a regular basis.
5. Whenever you get a chance don't just view the pictures here, take the time to click on the links to people's blogs and read all about what they are doing, instead of just getting the snippets of it here. People like it when you take the time to visit their blog and comment on their work. A lot of the fun of the challenge is that we get to know each other and encourage one another to try new things.
---------------
Laurie tatted Kira's Star in size 20 Lizbeth thread in white and she has done so well since taking a tatting course that finished in October, she has been asked to take over as tatting teacher in January. Congratulations!
Cheryl received a card with a tatted cross from her friend the Tollway Tatters.
Jane decided to use the last of her white polycotton to make baby pillowcases and after careful measuring figured that she could make 9, or is that 4.5 since they're double sided? She has added a tatted edging and the Li'l Heart by Birgit Phelps.
Lelia continues with the escapades of the Tollway Tatters. Sue Anna tatted this motif with the new Aerlit tatting shuttle using the recent released size 3 by LizBeth and the next one with Scottish Thistle colour. Lelia tatted motif #24 from Minitats by Patti Duff in Ice Blue Lizbeth size 20 and since she had forgotten her pattern folder at home, Denise let her borrow Minitats and she used it to tat this little tree.
Prabhjyotsaini is hosting a giveaway for the person who can suggest a catchy name for her online shop. The prize is this lovely bracelet tatted in red with glass beads.
Marta created a bookmark named Thymus, using up thread on her shuttles and Ozimina is another bookmark, which also uses up left over thread. Don't you wish your left overs looked this good?
Diane is wondering if she can do a snowflake a day for December and sticking with size 20 Lizbeth, Wedgewood DK #656 she has this one done. She found an image on Facebook, followed it to an embroidery page and decided to try to tat it from the picture. It turns out it's Kira's Star by Birgit Phelps, her version of which is done here with a finding in size 20 Lizbeth, Grape Splash #165.
