Marthanne only managed 12 motifs last year but she has started this year well with 2 motifs already done. It's the Butterfly Heart by Irene Woo. She has done a pair of them as earrings for Sweet Thing #3.

Elsa discovered that she had placed her picots in the wrong location and rather than suffer forever seeing a mistake in her lace, throwing it out, cutting it or taking other drastic steps, she moved the picot. How did she do that? She's glad you asked, and even better, she's shown how to do it on her blog.

Melanie is working on Jane's TIAS the annual guessing game we all love. Day One doesn't look like much. Day Two is a little more interesting. Day Three will keep you guessing.

Diane found some pink gems and had to make an Ice Drop. She fell asleep tatting this one. Day 3 of TIAS she thought it might be a cheerleader, but now she's thinking jellyfish. The 6/0 beads are too large for size 20 thread and she likes the look of this Ice Drop, but the beads make the chain flop. She tried it again with just 2 beads and the chains don't flop. A busy day made for only one Ice Drop. She spent her day in research on ideas for her sewing students and Ice Drops so she only got a little tatting done.

Fox is almost, almost there with only five more repeats to go on this round. Here's the big reveal and the finished piece is simply stunning. The finished size is 26" and it took 1/2 container of big beads and nearly a full container of the small lilac ones and there's a little bit of thread left.

Jane has Day 1 of TIAS done which doesn't look like much. Day 2 is a little different Day 3 doesn't have any connecting picots so what can it be?

Muskaan had some motifs done that she wanted to put to use so she decided to sew them together to create a bookmark. She added some tatted tails in the colours of the motifs and alternated the colour of the frayed tassels.

Phyllis' granddaughter loves My Little Pony especially Pinkie Pie so she used the pattern from Toys for Tatting by Martha Ess worked in Lizbeth size 20 in Dusty Rose Lt and Azalea Med.

Sue tatted Winter Rose Snowflake by Elaine P. Gan, another test tat worked in size 40 Lizbeth Tropical Punch.

Sarah tatted a modified version of "Anne" from Jennifer Williams' new book "Tatted Snowflakes" and she was surprised at how small it was in comparison to a quarter tatted in size 20 thread.

Batty Tatter has been taking painting classes to make backgrounds for her tatting like this white stallion. She finished her TIAS bunny, which started out blue, but it got messed up and she made it again in white.

Melanie finished another stripe on her flag. She finished her TIAS bunny and in trimming the whiskers clipped the thread holding the bead, so she did it again in pink with smaller beads. She tatted Julehjerter by Anne Bruvold and plans to tat several to make a basket.

Mary Lena created this necklace, bracelet and earrings set with copper coloured findings.

Sue nearly has her TIAS done. Here he is Harvey Campbell, her finished TIAS.

Claire decided to remake her earlier bracelet design and used Lizbeth 20, in the following colours #674 Garnet dark, #162 Purple Iris Fusion, #645 Grape dark and #155 Ocean Sunset.

Diane made the Tat Chat Heart pattern by LaRae Mikulecky which she thinks would look better in a solid colour, but Angel's Love #151 was right by her chair, so that's what she used. The center section of her Primrose Path doily is finished. This is the middle section completed. The final round is started. Another Spinning Wheel glass mat is done, this one in size 20 Lizbeth Twirlz, Blaze #409. She's working the Primrose Path doily, by Mary Konior from A Pattern Book of Tatting in size 20 Lizbeth, Angel's Love and Wedgewood DK.

Julie has Day 12 of her TIAS done and all the bits are connected.

Laurette worked this triangle motif from Tatting, A Potpourri of Patterns, with 5 individual motifs joined together done in size 100.  The pattern required different lengths of bare thread depending on if you are working on a side or corner. Lace #9 from Tatted Handkerchiefs by Kirstine Nikolajsen and Inga Nikolajsen is an edging she tatted in size 80 DMC.

Marie needed to empty a shuttle so she created this little wreath. Then she added more bling for a little pop.

Muskaan started Wally Sousa's 2016 Birthday Motif, but abandoned it in favour of deeper colours. She joined a Year Long Snowflake Tat-Along on Craftree where they are using Lene Bjorn’s book , 24 Snowflakes in Tatting, to tat two each month. To keep with in her flower theme she used a dark coloured thread on the inner chain to create a flower outline.

Phyllis finished the rabbit for Jane's 2016 TIAS and didn't realize until almost finished that he was born with a foot defect and one ear is a little wonky.

HisKid tatted A Heart for Him by Elaine P. Gan using size 40 Lizbeth Juicy Watermelon and tiny red beads. Tatted in the same thread and beads is another beaded flower from Corina Meyfeldt. She had thread on the shuttle and the bugle beads were right there so she emptied the shuttle and created this bracelet. This gorgeous bookmark by Robin Perfetti is tatted in size 20 Sugar Plum HDT from Tat-ilicious, and Lizbeth Ocean Teal Med. This is Lory's Celtic Flower tatted in size 20 Sugar Plum HDT from Tat-ilicious, and Lizbeth Ocean Teal Med that she modified by tatting rings with beads in them. Elaine P. Gan's Basket of Flowers design is tatted in size 20 Sugar Plum HDT from Tat-ilicious,  and Lizbeth Ocean Teal Med, a colour combination she loves and she's thrilled with the way the variegated thread pooled in such a symmetrical way.

Wanda has made it to day 9 of TIAS.
