Flower, Doilies, Edgings, Pin, Earrings and Dragons

Ancolie created this flower pattern out of her imagination, which she admits doesn't really look like a flower, but it gave her a good excuse to try out the thread.

Diane spent some time working on her latest Spinning Wheel glass mat which was relaxing after a full in service day.

Fox is finding this round of the Kurbatskaya Doily seems to go on forever.

Margaret was cleaning out her cupboards and found these hankies with tatted edgings done by her aunt. She thinks the thread used was size 80 and she doesn't use them any more as they are over 50 years old.

Marie found this pin at a yard sale and tatted around it with gold crochet thread adding turquoise beads and pearls. Since she needed to used up the thread on her shuttle, she made a pair of matching earrings on gold filled earwires.

Wanda started one of Anne Bruvold's dragons in Lizbeth Twirlz Winter Ice #403 thread and she's thinking that the way the thread is coloured makes it hard to work with making SSSRs. She pulled out the pattern for Ringtrim which is a smaller dragon and good for practising SSSRs and he makes a perfect zipper pull for her purse. Attaching Ringtrim with a lobster claw and another hook leaves lots of hardware to pull on so that hopefully the tatting will last a long time.
