Doilies, Motifs, Crosses, Earrings, Bracelets, Bookmark and Headdress

Meryl has decided to join the challenge and her current project is Renulek's Honey Napkin, which she has already completed up to Round 3.

Mistene has been practicing her photography skills on a medallion from Anne Orr's Classic Tatting Patterns in Lizbeth size 20. One of the larger projects she has started is the Distinctive Luncheon Set from Tatting Doilies and Edgings by Rita Weiss made with Cebelia No 30, color 699. Another doily in progress is the Large Centerpiece from Tatting With Anne Orr made with Cebelia No 20, color 712 but she's not happy with how it's working out, as the second round is a bit crowded.

Linda has added the Three Leaf Clover pattern by Sharon Albers to the final round of the Blue Doily by Eileen Stafford to make it larger, and now it's the size she wanted.

Diane had to try out her new shuttle and another Pineapple Parfait cross was a perfect choice. She's at Round seven of Doily VI from Tatted Treasures by Jan Stawasz using size 20 Latte Foam. Josephina from Happy Occhi by Petra Tornack-Zimmerman was tatted in size 20 Lizbeth, Pineapple Parfait #170. She had enough Latte Foam on the shuttles to make a cross and empty the shuttle. Which will mean she doesn't have to refill the shuttles as often

Fox was making terrific progress on the Jan Stawasz pattern, until she noticed a mistake and had to cut it off, accidentally cutting a picot on the row before it.  Since she doesn't have any more of the lilac thread, she switched to a different thread, which actually blends better. This design by Angeline Crichlow cupped and she was lamenting the fact until it was pointed out that there were some missing chains.

Margaret made earrings from earrings the snowflake from the Tat along mat by Renulek using Atkin Basak Thread No 50. She used light turquoise with gold beads and dark turquoise with silver beads. The bracelets are the Classic Edge pattern by Marilee Rockley I used Lizbeth white and black thread No 20. The white has dark beads with multi colours and the black has gold beads. The cross was tatted using the light and dark turquoise thread from the earrings on a pattern from the Pattern Collection by Mary Konior book.

Marie used Lizbeth, size 20, Vineyard Harvest to make this Easter Egg bookmark.

Martha is working out another design in bits and pieces, which don't look like much of anything yet.

Mica tatted the Ribbon Snowflake from Tatted Snowflakes by Vida Sunderman with Kreinik braid no. 4.

Orsi has finished her hyperbolic tatting and all that's left is to fashion it into her finished project.

Sherry has listed her Empress headdress on ebay with the intention of donating all the proceeds to the Shuttlebirds Tatting Scholarship fund. Nefertiti is the most recent version of a 1920's style headdress that she has created.
