Motifs, Butterfly Earrings, Doilies, Necklaces, Snowflakes, Heart, Bookmark and Edging

Jane has decided to join the challenge and she wants to challenge herself to work with new techniques. She has done layered tatting like this motif, butterfly and these earrings. She recently downloaded a tutorial on creating 3 dimensional geometric shapes. Her first attempt had to be abandoned, but with some pointers by Ladytats and some finger tatting she is making progress. After another try she has a cube and a tetrahedron. She thinks her cube earrings are more funky, than elegant and she's included her instructions for them on her blog.
Margaret has been working on round 2 of Norma Benporath's Lace Mat which has been charted by Jon Yusoff for a Tat Along challenge, that she is doing in Lizbeth no 20 Scottish Thistle.
Marie was given little pieces of what she thinks is coral coloured glass and used them as a pendant hung from a tatted chain made with size 10 crochet thread with a copper filament. The next pendent was made with Lizbeth size 20 in Vineyard Harvest tatted around an earring finding. These earrings are made with Boise State University colours in embroidery floss and a simple pattern she designed.
Ginny is off to the Canadian Tat Days and she shows us horse she sewed for one of the raffles with tatted earrings and holding some tating in progress.
Marta created a necklace with a honey coloured stone surrounded in neutral tatting with autumn gold beads.
Nancy has Jon's Tat Along, Norma Benporath Lace Mat, done using Lizbeth size 20 thread, color: #100 Falling Leaves.bedecked horse she sewed for one of the raffles.
SunshineCraft is on the beginning of round 3 of the Tat Along and she also finished this button necklace designed by Sally Kerson.
Bree's own Tat Along has the first 2 rounds done in some salmon shaded HDT from Jess and she plans on doing the next row in white.
Cindy's round 1 and 2 of the Tat Along done in brown and tan and she's contemplating using the tat for the next row with the 4th round and trefoils in the brown, but she's still thinking about it.
Diane tatted Eileen Stafford's Snowflake with a finding in the middle and adjusted the stitch count to fit. Here's another snowflake #2 with a finding, this one done in Blue Ice.
Fox has had her Duchess design test tatted and it's now available in her shop. She collided with a stool and broke her toe, so of course she has to sit and tat while it heals. The finding, a part of an old broken bracelet found in a funny little Manhattan shop, has been perfectly paired with thread and beads to make a lovely pendant, now available in her shop. She plans on tatting another hanky edging and she reviewed tatting a Maltese ring. A new heart pattern by Victats was a must have. Another pattern was designed around a bracelet link since the first one flew out of her shop and some of the older items in her shop have been reduced to half price.
Jess is working Jane Eborall's Fandango Bookmark in her size 60 Bahamas and Susie Sunshine HDT, 2 variegated threads. Here's the finished bookmark and it's clear to see that the colours blend well together.
Kathy bought some small oval metal pendants to put tatting in them and after tatting a rosette she ran out of thread at the row with picots and stopped, but with a finding added to the centre it turned out to be a perfect size and shape to add to the pendant. A centre of interlocking rings and a matching border made a second pendant in Lizbeth Turquoise, size 20.
Michelle is also doing the Tat Along working in Lizbeth size 20, white and deep purple.
Sue has posted glimpses of things she is working on. The mail delivery of her winnings from Jon's giveaway shows a package full of tatting goodies. The in progress glimpses turn out to be colour co-ordinated edgings for tops intended for her MIL for Christmas.
Tattabugg's Tat Along is finished in size 80 ecru thread which she was planning to keep, but it may just go for a wedding gift. What a treasure!
Wanda has switched from making hair clips, to making zipper pulls.
