Doily, Edging, Motifs, Necklace, Earrings, Bookmark and Bracelet

The Guidelines
1. Permission to copy. When a participant joins they are authorizing us to copy their pictures to be shown on the challenge blog.
2. There is no need to advise the Challenge Team to let let us know when you've added things to your blog. We check all of the blogs when we do an update.
3. We can't keep track of how many motifs each person does. You may post articles of tatting that you don't plan on including in your 25, or you may post a pair of earrings and count each earring as a separate motif. We don't read minds, so it's up to each participant to tell us when they have reached their goal of 25.
4. We know from past experience that the challenge is addictive. If you finish and plan on doing it again let us know so that we continue to check your blog on a regular basis.
5. Whenever you get a chance don't just view the pictures here, take the time to click on the links to people's blogs and read all about what they are doing, instead of just getting the snippets of it here. People like it when you take the time to visit their blog and comment on their work. A lot of the fun of the challenge is that we get to know each other and encourage one another to try new things.
---------------

Margaret participated in a summer exchange that featured clovers and she did this design from Be-stitched, one has red beads and the other has gold beads.

Garyo has seen many lanyards and she did a sampler trying out a variety of ways to make one with a bead in the centre, with picots, without picots, or with small beads, or maybe with cotton thread instead of the silk thread she used.

Julie shares another set of tatted scarves her grandmother used on the heirloom dresser.

Jessica has decided that she needs to finish off some works in progress. This summer dress has a tatted hem, but sadly it also had some spatters of bleach which she cleverly covered with motifs from the Star Doily in Priscilla Tatting #3. She thinks the tatting looks a little sparse but she's calling it done.

Marta used these Nile blue beads and linen thread to make the necklace and earring set with an Egyptian flair.

Nancy made a mistake on the first earring, but duplicated the mistake on the second, so it's not a mistake, just a variation. Then she did it again correctly. She has been turning her favourite bookmark patterns into bracelets. The colours are Lizbeth Tropical Fruit and the one on the right has Salmon Medium for the chains.

Diane started on another doodad, gold tone this time, using size 40 Lizbeth #158, Niagara Falls. The design is a re-visit to Jon's Toshti design.

Fox tatted Karey Solomon's Rose Window in size 40 Lizbeth and decided to do it again in different colours and different beads. Here it is with Lizbeth #40 and three different colours of beads.

Jess shows the same motif tatted in Sherry's size 100 Enchantment HDT next to her Fancy Fields size 20. The larger one fits a motif on a button, but the smaller one doesn't.
