Easter egg, Leaf, Hearts, TIAS, Butterflies, Necklace, Motifs, Bookmarks and Doilies

JB tatted Egg #7 from TATTED EASTER EGGS by Kirsten Wind Hansen. Tatted in Lizbeth #115 Springtime and #680 Spring Green with size 6 spring colored glass beads.

Laurette tatted an oak leaf and acorn from Tatting Turns Over a New Leaf by Karey Solomon and added seed beads to give the illusion of dew drops on the leaf. The extra long stem used to attach an acorn means she can use it for a bookmark.

Lyn has Peace and Tolerance Tiny Heart by Monica Mancenido and the larger one is My Heart by Eileen Stafford which are her first 2 motifs for the challenge. She's up to Day 8 on the TIAS.

Heather shows us the tatting from the InTatters exchange from nctatter and from Piney Woods Tatter.

Axa is looking for spring with this lovely butterfly based on a vintage pattern adapted by Wally Sosa and tatted in size 80 Anchor Artiste.

Garyo shared a necklace from Tatting Lace No Necklace by FUJITO Teiko in Koma-jirushi Silk Button Hole Thread in Black with TOHO small seed beads No. 204 that she did in 2009.

Jessica started on the 4th round of the tea cloth, but wanted to see what the motif that it is made up of would look like on its own and it's too large to use as earrings or pendant in size 10 but it might work in size 80. She started the fourth round with yellow centres but she's not sure about the stitch count.

Linda shows us many lovely uses for crazy quilts and lots of tatted embellishments like a Denim jacked with CQ and a tatted edging around the collar, a CQ purse with tatted bunny, butterflies and kokopeli, a small pouch with a bit of edging and butterflies and a block for "Hearts and Hands for Sendai" with tatted hearts. A flag block of the USA has a tatted eagle on it. The seams and motifs on the block for The Crazy Quilt Squares for Tat Days Scholarship 2010 are all tatted. An assortment of CQ blocks with lots of tatting like hearts, motifs and butterflies.

Diane tried to tat "Christina" from Tatted Bookmarks - cross-shaped by Lene Bjorn but after 2 failed attempts she switched to "Maria". "Adiratna" from Elegant Tatting Gems by Jon Yusoff also gave her problems. Some days tatting just doesn't work the way you want it to.

Fox was working on Frivole's "Stellar" but it got too messed up for our perfectionist, Fox so she scrapped it and started again. This one seems to be cooperating. She's up to Day 8 on TIAS and is enjoying it. Stellar is finished in all it's glory.

Michelle tatted Susan Fuller's Heart's Desire which Frivole diagrammed in size 20 Lizbeth. She thinks the colour is burgundy. And Birgit's peacock heart ended up as a bookmark. The colour change in this EdMar Brazilian thread didn't do that pattern justice. Her husband didn't like the bottom of the original of Mary Konior's Convoluvus pattern from Tatting in Lace. She changed it as per his specifications and now he likes it so she added a tassel. She's caught up to Day 7 of TIAS.

Sherry has Day 8 of TIAS done and if does turn out to be a goat, she'll add it to the Farm Animal scene she is working on.

Sue tatted Sue Hanson's Val's Suncatcher in size 40 Pink/Purple/Blue variegated HDT from Jess and put it in a bangle bracelet.
