Bookmarks, Heart, Cross, Easter Egg, Butterflies and Motifs

Garyou used Olympus #40 to make this bookmark pattern from Jane in South Africa and she likes the crisp feel of it. She used used Lisbeth #40 to tat this motif from The Tatting Lace Lesson Book by FUJISHIGE Sumi. The book shows a doily made with 8 of these motifs. Lisbeth #40 in Sherbet Delight was used to make a Tatted Marche Bag from Tatting Lace for Beginners by sumie, but she thinks it might look nicer done in a solid colour.

Journey received some balls of DMC size 80 when she won an ebay auction for an Aero shuttle and she has used the thread to Tat a variation of Mary Konior's Small Cross pattern.
Bree created this tatting cover for an egg and she's quite pleased at how it turned out.

Cindy has been working on these two bookmarks for a bookmark exchange through the Tatting Forums and was trying to get that spiral tail just right. This spiral bookmark in blue size 80 thread was received from Tattabugg. The butterflies are being made to empty shuttles and have plenty of business cards handy.

Diane hasn't been doing a lot of tatting but she has been working on stars from Kaye B. Judt's Oh My Stars! The most recent one is a blue and green Two-Color Star done in size 20 Flora and Lizbeth although they don't look exactly the same size. Her first attempt at beaded tatting is Twinkling Little Star from Oh My Stars! by Kaye B. Judt. It took her a while to get used to the beads.

Fox is using more Altin Basak on this pattern from the Myra Piper book.
