Bookmarks, Motifs, Dragon, Flowers, Butterfly, Necklace, Heart, Doily and Edging

Ninetta designed these patterns based on playing with picots as done in the 2005 Palmetto's class with Riet Surtel. The bookmark is done in DMC 80 thread and uses Catherine wheel joins to connect external chains. For the motif also done in size 80 DMC she used two safety pins to keep picots woven and she's wondering how several of them would look joined together.

Anne finally has some time to do tatting and has made a spring dragon.
Barbara has done some small Celtic Knot Flowers from the book Celtic Tatting Knots & Patterns by Rozella F Linden. She used size 20 threads, Nectarine HDT from Yarnplayer on the first and Lizbeth #131 Vineyard Harvest on the second. The green for both is Lizbeth #684, Leaf Green - Med
Brigitte tatted Jean Tallet's Butterfly in Lizbeth size 20 thread which she thinks is Spring Garden.

Fox has started a new trend. She got bored enough with doing endless edging to start a new project. Isn't it pretty?
Isa has tatted a necklace from Lynn Morton's book in size 20 thread with coral sticks on the outer row.
Kat needle tatted the Heart from Learn to Tat by Janette Baker in Lizbeth Jelly Bean because she just had to try out the colour.
Sue tatted Wanda's Vacation Bookmark/Bracelet in Lizbeth size 20 Black, and Caribbean with tiny purple beads which she is offering in a giveaway. She is also showing her progress on Arlene's First Place Winner Doily-pattern which she is doing in Lizbeth size 40 White and Tropical Punch. She has also started Jane Eborall's Fandango Edging in Lizbeth size 20 Lilac Dk. and size 20 Iris Bouquet from Crochet4U2Dye4. She's also emptying shuttles by practicing SSSRs which seems like a smarter thing than doing endless amounts of butterflies.
