Bookmark, Bracelet, Motifs, TIAS, Doily, Edging and Heart

Rayanna is thankful that Jane did another TIAS because it got her back into tatting. Right now she is working on another of Jane's designs, Fandango Bookmark.

Karen tatted this pattern by Cristina Banyard for St. Patrick's Day using variegated Omega rayon thread and had the worst time trying to close rings. She decided to make a bracelet to trade with a student she's tutoring using a size 10 blue thread and some beautiful glass beads.

Bree tatted Fox's Abigail in dark blue and tropical blue, Lizbeth size 20 and added it to a tank top.

Corina has been doing some bobbin lace and used the left over thread to make tiny tatted flowers that she has plans for.

Brigitte really enjoyed Jane's TIAS. Her airplane is tatted in pale pink and old turquoise Lizbeth Size 20 thread and size 11 beads.
Diane has been tatting pattern #31 from A New Twist on Tatting by Catherine Austin (most of the patterns in this book are reprints of older books which can be downloaded from the antique pattern library) in size 20 Lizbeth, color #651. Her sister asked her to tat 18 inches of edging and has chosen edging #8861 from an old Coats book, #207 which has a lovely undulating profile.

Sue was tatting Jon Yusoff's Heart 0' Daisies Pattern when her granddaughter came for a visit and claimed the unfinished heart.

  1. I want to try this challenge. I'm a total beginner, though, so it'll be slow going. Here's my blog: http://schmathknits.blogspot.com/
