Bookmarks, Snowflakes, Earrings, Butterfly, Dragonfly Ornaments and Doily

Mary has decided that she is finally ready to join the challenge and she already has a good selection of bookmarks done to get her started which was helped out by a shipment of Lizbeth threads to try. She used Kersti's Stumpy for her first attempt at adding beads and it came out looking very Christmassy. The variegated Lizbeth thread looked wonderful in the braid design by Jane Eborall, so she did several. She also had a couple of bookmarks that she had done previously, but she doesn't remember where the designs come from.

Wanda has been busy with Christmas tatting and she decoupaged a candle jar with red tissue paper and adorned it with little tatted snowflakes. She added some sparkle to the snowflakes to go on her exchange partner's tree and tatted napkin rings in festive colours as well as decorating a stocking with a lovely tatted edging.

Cindy has received several of her Christmas exchange items including butterflies, a dragonfly and a Christmas ornament all tatted with her favorite colour blue and Jon Yusoff's Merriment Coaster/Doily done in festive red white and green.

Fox tatted a snowflake from DMC Festive Tatting book using size 20 Cebelia and some lovely beads she found in an old sewing outlet.
Lily started using double strand silk in Easter Egg HDT by Sherry using the Flurry Pattern by Jane Eborall and the beads chose were just too big for it. So she started over and selected teeny tiny seed beads instead and now it's looking enchanting.
Marty tatted Jane Eborall's Flurry Snowflake and put it in bangles. She thinks it's a great pattern that is even easier when all done in one color so the SLT can be skipped.
Sue has has several requests for her tatted cross earrings, one pair as a Christmas gift and one pair for her mother-in-law.
