Katherinne decided to save the clover doily for another time, and instead chose to use a pattern from "A New Twist on Tatting" for her grandmother's birthday. She didn't have anything to precisely block out her doily so she has improvised a 12-point diagram for the job and she has generously shared her diagram online. Here's what she has done so far. 
Alan has a new gorgeous silver wire bridal necklace done with freshwater pearls. I tried tatting with wire once. What a disaster! I can't imagine how Alan keeps consistently producing such beautiful pieces.
Krystle's alter ego Dr. Vonthreadmore has created a lovely dusky new size 20 HDT that goes by the name of Vineyard at Dusk which she used to make the flower shown here.
Shirl made a cute little linen needle case with a tatted piece closure worked in Lizbeth thread and a button.
Shirley has been working on a project to convert a piece of crochet into tatting. This one is adapted from Annie Potter's book of crocheted bookmarks. It was hit or miss and lots of retro-tatting but she finally has it done and embellished with flowers that are all take-offs from Mary Maynard's "Tatting Rings of Flowers". They were worked in DMC Ecru Cebelia size 20 for the bookmark and one of the flowers. The other flowers were tatted in Color #437, camel color, a light grey green color #524, and yellow size 30 color #745.
