Spider, Butterflys, Bookmarks, Rose, Dragonfly, Doily

Catherine tatted Jon's foldover bookmark and completed it to give it to her mother. IsDihara has been having lots of things like a dog attack, and car problems take her attention away from tatting. The spider for a crazy quilt block was finger tatted around a button. some other pieces are being sent to Georgia Seitz like this Lene Bjorn pattern from Danish Tatting Guild (Dansk Orkisforening) newsletter Orkis Bladet, Lady Shuttlemaker's "Hope" Butterfly, Rose Doodle by Mary Konior and this Single Shuttle Split Ring Dragonfly .
Wanda tatted on a cabone ring, just trying things out to see what she could come up with. She's done a little work on the doily counting stitches so that she knows it's right but she's making adjustments to the written pattern so it will lay better right off the shuttle. Diane has run into a few problems with Stella Alpina which she had to cut back, but she finally has it sorted out and is ready to start again.
Heather is working on a necklace design, but it just isn't working quite right.
Kathy says she's fascinated with variegated and hand-dyed threads, and likes to test them out by making quick motifs that she can tat while riding in the car. Mary McCarthy’s Butterfly in Lizbeth Vineyard Harvest size 20 is glued onto a velvet paper circle made with a scalloped circle punch. The basic ring-and-chain pattern from Catherine Austin’s “A New Twist on Tatting” book, is actually the first round of a doily tatted in Lizbeth Jellybean size 20.
Kelly tatted a pattern by LaRae Mikulecky called Lacy Bookmark in size 20 Lizbeth Spring Garden and she completed her bracelet. She received her package from her Fringe exchange partner from Australia which included a card with a tatted flower on it and some small flowers and a beautiful bobbin lace bookmark.
