Hearts, Critters, Necklaces, Edgings and Motifs

Magda usually shows finished pieces of lace but this one has only one more motif to go. It takes her about 30 minutes to make each motif and there are 70 of them in it, so it's 35 hours of work. It's about 40 cm long and 25 cm wide in shades of white and pale blue. The pattern is designed for beginners and needs only a shuttle, and a ball of thread.
Kat has taken a page from Fox's book and is adding edgings to socks but she's wondering whether the edging with yellow (Lizbeth Tropical Punch) in the first picture is too small for the sock and if the one in green (Lizbeth Springtime) a better size? And does the narrower edging look better on the shorter sock? As an added incentive for your input she's doing a giveaway for a tatted heart for folks who comment.

She has added some bling to her new shuttle which, besides helping to identify which is which, makes them a little less slippery. The motif is a design by Karey Solomon.
