Doilies, Snowflakes, Hearts and Bookmarks

Sue started tatting in January and she has already shown us her poster board filled with the things she has made. Her first entry for the challenge were these candy canes by Anita H. from the online tatting class, which I somehow missed. She completed the third round on the doily she is making and put it aside to do something different and made this little butterfly which is a bit larger than her usual flutter. Then she tried the Beaded Snowflake from Tatted Snowflakes by Vida Sunderman.
Agasunset has decided which way to go with her Red Queen Necklace Swarovski crystals to give it a finishing touch. Paula has been a very busy tatter trying to get some practice in and learn a few more techniques before Shuttlebirds Tatting Days Workshop next month. The celtic snails were taught at the January guild meeting. The first one was tatted in Lizbeth size 20 in Springtime and the second is Lizbeth size 20 Light Lemon. The Sweetheart bookmark is tatted in Yarnplayers size 30 Purple Pansy. The purple Octamotif is a Shuttle Brothers pattern she used to learn SCMR's made with size 10 Cebelia in lavender color 210. The Ecru Double O Cross is from the book Tatted Bookmarks - Needle and Shuttle, worked in Flora HH size 20 color 242. The medallion is a pattern challenge from the Dec guild newsletter in Cebelia size 20 in color 842 mocha. Julie Patterson's Hearts and Flowers Cross Bookmark was made in Flora HH size 20, color 205 Buttercup - Med.
