Doilies, Crosses, Butterfly and Lace Slippers

Dale Marie has been working steadily on the doily for her mother and she's finished all of the motifs. Now she just has to add the outer round of edging.
Agasunset is having a giveaway for this burgundy bracelet. She was asked to make a goth necklace with a cross and this is the result. She designed a couple of cross variations of her own in time for Easter. Wanda got a little tatting done this and made Sherry's "Hope" butterfly in shades of brown and gold Lizbeth size 20.
Diane had to try out her new Pop A Bobbin shuttle and used and edging from Mary Konior's Tatting Patterns. The thread is Flora, size 20, color #228.

Fox is finding that not working with the specified materials is causing problems. The 4 small beads instead of the one large one suggested are moving around a lot and working with 2 strands of thread has it's own difficulties. If you have the March/April 2010 issue of Piecework magazine check out the vintage edging by Fox the Trimmings section.
Jeff has the next round on his windmills doily finished but he's run out of thread. So now he has to decide if he wants to do another round or just end it here and add a finishing edging.
Kathy has been asked recently about the pattern for her Victorian Slippers. Although she kept notes when she made it, it's not the same thing as a pattern, but she has plans to turn it into a real pattern.
M shares with us Motif 40 from the book The Tatted Artistry Of Teiko Fujito by Teiko Fujito, tatted in Lizbeth 20, col 671, Christmas red.
Marty used multi-colored metallic Oren Bayan thread and over 350 mini-seed beads for these earrings and Pendant. The beads are so tiny she couldn't even get a size 16 hook in them.
